I think I've kind of started out more or less the same, I actually tend to watch stuff then buy it when I like it, rather than buy stuff to try watching it. So my goal is to do that where I can, and always the CE versions now as well.

Yeah it really makes it hard to warrant buying the newer sets when you can't complete it, but if it was just 1 of the many Gundams that have been released then I suppose you never know. It's harder when it's a clear sequential show.

I had to source all 3 Overlord CE's at the same time (in fact 1 or 2 of mine are US editions) because I couldn't justify just having the most recent one, luckily I managed it.

I did have a long period when I bought nigh on everything but I am a lot more picky now. I don't get things unless I know that I will want to watch them, which does save quite a bit, and I don't import from the US nearly as much now. I don't care about Gundam enough to get the CE's (in fact I've now ordered three of the series in the buy one get one free offer on ATA at the moment, so thats £20 a series which is a lot cheaper.

It helps that a lot of releases are things I have no interest in so can skip, Blood C for example. I do need to pre-order a few other things off the ATA sale but its no where near as ridiculous as it was in the past.
 
The Eva UE was too big for my shelf/collection, I may get the CE sometime but not really at £125. Zavvi briefly had it at £80 which is more reasonable, but too much stuff was up in the air with my job and things to warrant wasting cash unnecessarily. All sorted now so I'll pick up the regular EVA CE if I see it for about £80 again.

I just finished FMP season 4 yesterday, all in all a mixed bag but I enjoyed it on the whole across all 4 seasons. Seasons 2 and 3 done by KyoAni were definitely the best, Season 1 was a little too muddled for it's own good at times but set up 2 + 3 well enough. Season 4 was done by Xebec (now dead), and whilst not perfect, it still had the same kind of feel as the previous seasons, I think they did a pretty good job with it, and the characters looked pretty faithful to the previous versions, ropey CGI aside I liked it :)

I'm going to watch Fruits Basket at some point, the new one, I've heard good things, not sure when.

From this seasons new shows I've been watching 86, Mushoku Tensei, and Mieruko-chan which are all very good. I'm going to check out some of the other airing shows soon as well like the Faraway Paladin.

The new Fruits Basket is really rather good (although i'm a season behind).

I'm currently watching "Banished from the hero's party I decided to become an apothecary" (or whatever it's full title is), and "My senpie is annoying" as streamed titles and they're both good, I'm probably going to sit down and watch Little Busters or Twin Exorcist as my next disc based titles.
 
I've heard Senpai is annoying is pretty good but no idea :D

Komi can't communicate is meant to be good as well, was on my list to check out.

Both on my list from this season to try!
 
Komi is pretty good. I've been following the manga for Senpai and is pretty good, the anime is not bad either.

Yeah, I can't say that the UE EVA set sits well on my shelf really but I'm glad I've got it.

Various shipping issues mean I probably won't be getting some things until sometime in January
 
Yep seen all of MT, it's really well made and my kind of thing with the lore and the world building in it, my only negative is the somewhat questionable content it has at times, but looking past that a bit and the rest is very good.

I'm watching Gosick at the moment (fairly decent not blowing me away but good) and Paranoia Agent (This is good but I wonder what kind of things Satoshi Kon would be making these days if he was still alive).

I dropped Faraway Paladin felt decidedly average.

Despite annoying screaming the new Demon Slayer arcs are pretty good, pringle guy and boar guy aren't my favorites with the over the top stuff they put on, but it's good when it gets more serious.
 
watch Mushoku Tensei really enjoy it, there talk that it been renew for a season 2 and 3 but nothing official yet.
