The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

I still need to watch 0083 to be honest, I have most of the UC Gundam on blu-ray and I have just not got around to watching 0083 and ZZ.
I did binge watch RX-78 Gundam and Zeta when they came out but after that I kind of stopped.

This is my plan btw:

Movie trilogy for OG Gundam (complete)
Main series for Z (complete)
Main series for ZZ (working on it)
...
Char's Counterattack
Unicorn
Narrative
Hathaway
F91
Victory

Narrative through to Victory are late UC timeline entries I think.

F91 was Ok, sucks it was rushed and turned into an OVA.
I have not watched Narrative myself so I can't comment on that and Victory was hard to watch as it took a bit of time to get going and I wasn't a fan of Uso the main character.

I am having a hard time getting invested in modern Gundam shows to be honest, the last Gundam series I did watch weekly was Build Fighters Try.
I did try and watch Witch from mercury and liked what I saw but then its now trying to find time to watch it.
Something about the UC era just gets me more excited than the modern series, I'm more excited for Hathaway 2 movie than the Seed movie but there hasn't been any announcement for the 2nd Hathaway movie in a while now.
I am waiting for that Doan island movie to get released digitally so I can watch that.

OK so I just finished End of Evangelion. The episode 25 part was much better but episode 26 was still as clear as mud. If I've understood the plot correctly, which does feel in doubt, then it wasn't especially satisfying but unquestionably better than the original series and the films. Series as a whole was excellent though really loved it.

Just need to work out how to watch Attack on Titan because the Managa has a really satisfying ending for such a long running comic.

What are OCUK people liking this season?

For new shows, these two are standing out for me as the best ones I've tried so far:

Undead Girl Murder Farce - Very dialogue heavy but it's also really atmospheric and the dialogue/events I find very interesting. Reminds me a lot of Monogatari.
Zom 100 - Fun romp which takes the black company problem Japan has and amps it up a load, recommend if you like Zombie based things for sure.

These are not quite as good as the above two:

Ryza - This is very slice of life and could be too slow for some people, but Ryza reminds me a lot of Haruhi, dragging her friends around on adventures. It's a beautifully presented anime. If I had to pick a 3rd fav this would be it probably.
Dark Gathering - I'm still not quite sure what to make of this one, but will watch some more and see where it goes.
Reborn as a Vending Machine - I don't like this loads to be honest, it's not as much fun as the Reincarnated as a Sword one, but the gimmick will probably last me the season.
Reign of the Seven Spellblades - This is basically Harry Potter.

For continuations:

Mushoku Tensei - Despite it's slightly weird loli content at times, this is still the best fantasy show airing and also probably the best fantasy anime I've seen. The rich world building and complex characters, with top tier art and animation makes for a show that is very much up my alley.
Bleach - It's Bleach. So far so good though still does the old over-explaining thing they like to do.
Jujutsu Kaisen - Prequel episodes for first 5 or 6 then we get back on track. I was disappointed that this was prequel material but seems it will get out of the way pretty quick.
Link Click - The first season surprised me with how good it was, really enjoyed it. This season I've sort of forgotten where things were at with the end of S1, it hasn't grabbed me quite the same way yet as I'm partially confused. What S1 did the best was the mini-stories/lives they jumped into, which is missing in the first couple of episodes here.

For older stuff:

Caught up with Ancient Magus Bride, which I liked, it got better as it went along I think.

Up to Chars Counter Attack movie on the Gundam side as well, this movie really amps up the quality a lot so glad to see finally leaving behind some of the jankiness of the older series.

Onto Unicorn next.
