The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

I've not seen that one, but i've been quietly enjoying "Reborn as a vending machine, I now wander the dungeon", and I will admit silly Iseki's are a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, especially the really silly/novel ones where it's not just "the hero dies and becomes an OP saviour".
Although I'd love to see something along the lines of Madoka, where it turns out that Truck Kun is really part of a race of beings who are manipulating things so that when they run people over and send them to the other world, they then benefit from energy released/the speeding up of that other world's collapse as it turns out the heros powers come at at the expense of bringing around the destruction of that world/parallel universe.

On another note, something that until a couple of years ago I never thought I'd be able to say.

My UK Gunbuster blu-ray has shipped!

I watched Burn the Witch which is a fun little 3 episode movie type affair, a teaser more than anything but ticked by boxes for entertainment alone.

The creator of the source material is the same as Bleach, though there are quite a few differences in how the characters and the world works, so it doesn't feel like "Bleach 2" to me.

Anyone watched Blades of the Guardian? The fight sequences are amazing.

Not seen but must admit, trailer looked interesting for that one!

Will probably check it out :)

I also like the stupid ones sometimes, like the reincarnated as a sword one, or the skeleton knight in another world one.

However this one falls a little behind for me and I am not amazingly into it, not sure why.

Been really enjoying Zom 100. Hilarious and light hearted. Can't. Get enough. Hope the live action version will be good.

Blades of the Guardians - seems that it's recommended to watch on Youtube? that makes a change!

It's a Chinese production so the overall animation is alright nothing spectacular but the fight sequences are amazing. I think they used motion capture that's why it's so realistic.

Re Baki new season

I can’t get into this Baki, the Neanderthal man doesn’t make an interesting antagonist, I’m at ep6 at the moment. There’s no motive from him so far. I’m not sure why I should care, it doesn’t show me why I should and the rest of them wanting to fight him because he’s strong is a weak reason for a fight to the death IMO, even for Baki.

Finished Baki, my feelings remain the same.

I am surprised no one used Tai Chi against him, it seems obvious due to his size and power and use that back against him rather than trying to brute force it every time.
I haven't finished it yet but I am on episode 6 myself and I am enjoying it to be fair, it's apparently quite faithful to the manga.
The new opening is awesome though from Wagakki band.
