The anime thread sequel (it's still not as good as the Manga though),

I thought this might interest someone here!

As people may know I am a bit of a Type-Moon fan :D

I got something rather special in the other day, the original Saber DD:

She was 200,000 yen. I heard some people on here mentioning Danny Choo's site? So I guess you've seen them before if you've been on there.

I've now got the entire set!

I would say that looks great Strife ... I do follow Danny quite a bit so have seen this sort of thing on there ... :)

Personally though, I do find these dolls rather scary ... it's something about their eyes :shudder: ... I'm sure that they come alive at night and your ones are armed!

run. run like the wind .... :p

A different one for the desk every working day ;)

I'm not really into that sort of collectable, but pretty awesome :)

And on a completely different note, TRSI are doing the 7 Inu Yasha TV sets at $10 each (works out about £83 with shipping, assuming you get hit for customs and a handling fee).
I'm sorely tempted, but this month my DVD orders/pre-orders are costing enough as it is.

Was going to say more money than sense, but we're Otaku, nice collection :D

Wish i had both the money and the space for something like that, having issues finding a place for my next Perfect Grade Gundam kit. May have to make a display stand soon.

I have new-found respect for Crunchyroll Customer Support :p had a response from them within 30 seconds after e-mailing and that was as a free member (the guy was so polite too!).

So these T-Shirts arrived today. I did try to cancel two of them but happy now that AmiAmi refused.

Some pictures of my figure collection.

You win a loli if you can guess what the paper clip is used for, it's PC related. ;)

I be moving them in the Detolfs soon.

Some really nice figures there :)
I really wish I had more room to display stuff :p

I finished watching Disgea last night which had a surprising ending, and really enjoyed it (the humour level tickled me, whilst at the same time it was sad in places).
I loved the Prinnies :p

I'm currently watching Princess Jellyfish (which came with one of the strangest LE items I've seen*, and so far it seems to be generally fun if slightly weird, and the opening song sounds really similar in structure/tune to another series that I've seen but can't place.

*Keyrings, papercraft, artcards, book marks, figures, mousmats, panties decks of cards, pencil boards, note pads, stationary sets etc are all old hat, plush jellyfish toys on the other hand are a first....)

I quite liked Princess Jellyfish ... the second time I watched it. The first time I watched it I didn't think much of it at all. I've got the US release which given that I have enough extra LE **** cluttering up the place is probably a good thing looking at this release.

I see MVM are reporting on Facebook that Kids on the Slope will be released next year (in the UK). Nice Jazz centric series.

edit:

Finished re-watching Library Wars this evening. Nice little series about a future Japan where there are some odd laws which be books can be censored but the libraries can fight back against this by force. It's action and comedy with fairly likeable characters.

Does anybody have any recommendations for books about authors or directors? I have just finished reading Satoshi Kon: The Illusionist and I enjoyed it, so I was wondering if there were anymore biography-come-analysis type books like it. I know there is one about Miyazaki but I'm not a fan ... (don't hate me :()

Almost done watching naruto. Near end of season 8 and gona do season 9 and should be finished that in a few days.

Whats next on the naruto scale. The films, the ovas or should i just go straight to Naruto Shippuuden series?

As not sure of which order i should go in.

I'd go straight to Shippuden. You're not missing anything really with the movies/OVAs. Although I would recommend watching the Kakashi Gaiden OVA if possible :)
