I don't think the prices have changed for the Macbook Pro, so the prices in the OP should be correct.
As for the screen, there 4 options:
Standard: Glossy 1440x900
Hi-Res: Glossy 1680x1050
Anti-Glare: Matte 1680x1050
Users on here usually say if you work in photography or print design you're better off with the matte screen. Otherwise stick with the Glossy.
This is what Apple has to say about the difference:
Hi guys
I ordered a quad core i5 on Monday and it is being delivered today (Wednesday)
When do I receive the 3 year warranty email as I ordered of the uni network?
Thanks
So what will I get the 1 year in the box and then should I ring them?
What should I say to them if anyone else has done it
Cheers
Ok cheers you know where I can find the T&C's
Cheers
I didn't know that!!! My brother is enrolled in a masters currently. He has a ID card. Problem is I already purchased my Macbook Pro on the 12th (last Tuesday).
Can I return this macbook pro so that my brother can go buy me one for cheaper using his university card?
Well I rang up and they said I can return it within the 14 day period without having to pay a "restocking fee" (which I read in apples terms and conditions is 10%!!! - which would be around £130) so thats very good news.
Huge discount and free iPod touch here I come!
I'm well pleased with that
Gotta say that iPod touch isn't fully free. Feel free to correct me if I have got this wrong but the 8GB touch retails at £152 and according to the terms and conditions you get £130 given back to you...leaving the total cost of the iPod at £22. Thats still a extremely good price though.
