The Asus X99 Deluxe Owners Thread

I flashed to it about an hour ago as I'm having some shut down reboot issues which has me completely baffled, but my temps are reading a lot lower. at 1.185-1.2v large FFT under prime I'm maxing out at 50c @ 4.3

You aren't getting code 53 by any chance on reboot

I've never managed to check the board to see the code before shut down and reboot but no it's not hanging on 53, it literally just powers back on as if nothing has happened. 53 is a memory training code.

I was getting 53 for some reason but it's cleared now

Would love the best(fastest) but it depends on funds and what i can get/what they got in stock, dont want to wait too long tho so maybe just the cheapest (Crucial 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 PC4-17000C16 2133MHz Quad Channel Kit (CT4K4G4DFS8213) to start then upgrade it later, will post results when its up and running ,

Well im up and running (deluxe + 5960x + 16 gig dom plat) @ 4.3 temps are ok while its doing nothing (30c) but running seti! ouch, 80`s , hitting TJ max and slowing down, somethings not right but not had time to find out what. yet
wish me luck

edit: water temp is only 37c coming out of block so maybe i need to check the tim, will try ic diamond tonight

edit: just sorted the temps with a bios update 41/56c now under full load , phew

omg i just ran 5 way and the cpu went over 10MHz with no sign of stopping , until i clicked stop and it then carried on and ended up at 3.7 :( , well weird, i have on video and pics. temps were low, must be a bug eh lol, ill try again

edit: seems to happen when i enable the EZ XMP switch and CPU over voltage jumper (both off by default) page 1-20 in user guide

all seems ok with these disabled and i get 4.4/4.5
bios X99-DELUXE BIOS 0801
