-Liverpool fans spend two days rigging the vote to get Suarez to win the player of the year poll on the skysports website
-United fans catch on to this with a few hours remaining on the poll
-Suarez' lead slowly begins to shorten, with Nani catching up
-Suarez leads the way at midnight (the scheduled end to the poll) but voting doesn't close (Liverpool fans take screenshots as evidence )
-Nani overtakes Suarez. Liverpool fans snap and begin writing to Ofcom, making youtube videos about it being a fix, writing to sky to complain, saying that Sky rigged it - all the time not realising that they had just been out-rigged by the United fans
I'm presuming you saw this Ripper but for those that cant be arsed to read through the thread one irate Liverpool fan even went to the trouble of creating a video to express their woes
I found it hilarious the people on RAWK getting angry at the couple of Utd fans voting when they had been voting for days to try and get it. Reporting Sky to Ofcom and all sorts saying Sky had 'fixed it' yet they were trying to fix it themselves, classic.
In all seriousness for a player of the 2011 accolade RVP should win it. Aren't sky running another poll for best PL player of all time that Gerrard's currently winning? Not that any internet poll should be taken seriously mind you
