***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Found myself on a rooftop so tried a bit of target practice but I don't think I managed to hit anything lol.

Minimums iv'e seen around 40fps

You seem to be getting the same performance as me.
I guess your cpu's holding those 770's back a bit, but I'd still expect to see more.

Those minimums are pretty rare though, and it never feels like it's slowing down. If not for the fps display, I wouldn't be aware of it.
It usually hovers between 55-65fps with peaks of 70-100 or so.

Been having some good performance since the last patch. Usage is up to high 70s and peaking at 100% (I have vsync on) and getting nice smooth play from my 7950s and 3570k. Must admit I'm very relieved after all that talk of i7 being the only fix! Delicious ultra (4xmsaa) at 1440p :D

I've been getting some horrible spikes as well, doubt it's my CPU or GPU though :)
Just putting it down to being a beta, and a terrible game :D

Got some roof campers with the TOW launcher though :p Went hopping from roof to roof, cleaned them up :p

Playing some more with it, CPU spikes only happen when i run Ultra settings, if i turn half to High its fine.

Just seen a good price on a 3770k.....very tempted. Would mean my 670's can stretch their legs in this game and a few others.

One thing though, i don't fancy reinstalling windows as i have only just done it. Bit off topic but will have to reinstall windows going from a 2500k to a 3770k (it will involve a bios update so my mobo can take 22nm cpus's as well)?

No you shouldn't need to re-install windows. Just ensure you make a BIOS update to allow the z68 to take an Ivy chip.
