Im dropping a 3770k in my machine in place of my 4.3ghz 2500k in the next few days. I would say i will let you know but the beta ends tomorrow!

Fed up of seeing my 670's in SLI only at 60% usage and seeing the framerate drop to ~55 when this happens. My i5 cant cope with a 64 man server and keeping both 670's fed.

Gutted BF4 beta ends tomorrow, even though i have been playing around with all my settings trying to make it run the best i can the game itself is really good quit different from BF3 in a very good way.

So can not wait to see the other maps

Test with bf3 if you have it. It will show the same improvements in gpu use.

Will do! Hopefully have it up and running by Thursday. probably wont start overclocking it till the weekend though. Still a 3.9ghz ivy is probably similar to a 4.3 sandy in terms of performance so i should still be able to see the benefits of 8 threads.

yes, Battlefield 3 and Crysis 3 (heavy grass animation areas as that is where i have seen bottlenecking as well).

I would say Rome 2 as well but that performs so badly on everything and was clearly coded (and designed) by 3 month old chimps so it might not be a very good test.

Well i was running Fraps so i was taking a bit of a hit from when i dont run Fraps but heres my FPS bench when im not recording..

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
96631, 1633559, 42, 132, 59.154

It does vary from server to server but i think for that video i was on a good Frankfurt server.

Very true about the servers, I changed a few settings went onto a server and blimey what a difference played till the end then went into another server and run like a dog LOL so thers me thinking its my set-up and well its not well sometimes

Really enjoyed it though, and I have gone back on my new rule of never pre-ordering a game again....just pre-ordered it from Tesco as I had a £5 off £20 spend coupon. £25.99 cant be sniffed at.

To be honest, I don't mind pre-ordering when I have actually been able to play and test the game for a reasonable amount of time. I will just never pre-order anything that doesn't have a demo/beta again.
