***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

It sorted out stutter for me completely matt, believe it or not. There's a little program called park control that let's u flick it on and off and the dif for me is huge. Playable and unplayable huge

http://bitsum.com/about_cpu_core_parking.php

Its not as drastic for me but watching the cpu usage in monitoring software when core parking has been fully disabled the usage is more even.

So far the game is much smoother than the beta was :)

I am not getting the same stuttering I was getting in the beta when using SLI. :)

I forgot to load fraps so I'll have another go later on but I am running 2560x1440. Everything maxed apart from MSAAx2 and the other blurry AA off. Played some multiplayer on a couple of maps (a flooded one & cant remember the name of the other one), FoV at 90, no motion blur.

Using Windows 7
16GB Ram
No page file.

Very impressed!!
Look forward to seeing your results. Also on sli 670's here. Res at 1920x1200 though. Rest of spec in sig.

Ah wow, just got the latest update, now the game looks beautiful, running as smooth as a seal covered in butter.

For you kids having problems, all you need is a 1300mhz GTX 780 and a 4770K. Smooth as silk !! :D:p

Now back into the action :)

Just had a quick go, blown away tbh.

Singleplayer looks amazing imo and had me hooked pretty quick, multiplayer is fantastic and the maps i've played so far well designed.

Performance on my system is like silk, with average Fps around 90fps in the few maps i've tried.

Quick blast on the Dam map, full 64 man server Full ultra:
2013-10-29 21:53:51 - bf4
Frames: 14710 - Time: 152297ms - Avg: 96.588 - Min: 75 - Max: 133

With my overclocked GTX680 and i5 750 running at 4Ghz I'm getting around 80fps on 64man servers. There is rubber banding and sound issues, I suppose that's the maps and not my rig.

Playing at 1080p everything on Ultra, I'm very pleased it runs so well. Don't need to upgrade after all :)

Max VRAM usage 1900MB on a 64 man Shanghai Map so 2GB VRAM is still enough for 1080p

I'm finding that in multiplayer the framerate is very map dependant, Siege of Shanghai avgs about 60-70 with highs in the 130's lows in the 40's at 1080p full ultra, 4xmsaa, post processing off, MLAA on in CCC and enhance application settings. The flood map however never seems to drop below 70 with highs in the 140's, and again one of the big open fields similar to BF3 one with a BC2 harvest day field. Big open map and can see for miles but never lower than 70. Wondering whether adding a few 100MHz to the CPU will make any difference.

Thinking you need crossfired 290x's for ultra, supersampling and 200% texture res (that dropped me to sub 30 fps) ;)

I'm getting pretty good results/FPS. 70 - 100+ all Ultra x2 AA.

I had to drop my OC'ed 4670 down to 4.4ghz with CF7970 @ 1140... otherwise the odd freeze. I can't get AB to work tho.. even on a non 64bit game. Does MSI AB even work on this game yet?

Ok guys got an update. The cpu parking thing did nothing, either setting.

However i did try turning frame pacing off and vsync on and this stopped the cpu spiking, which was interesting. I'm going to try the previous beta driver next and see if that makes any difference.

I did not know there was a switch off/on for frame pacing.

Core parking off in BF4 beta worked well for me, Strange how it works for some??

Also i don't understand how so many are playing this i thought it was released this Friday?
