***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Surprised how well it runs on my 3570K and SLI GTX 660 compared to the BETA, so much smoother.

Everything on ultra settings I'm getting about 80-90FPS most of the time with with the odd dip when a lots going on.

Just as I thought :D
Couple post up I did 3d mark test with and without core parking regedit method, it made the performance worst.

I seem to be the only amd user having problems with this at 1440p. Its weird its normally other people having problems and me helping them. Once i get problems i know im in trouble as there's never anyone to help old LT. :( :D :p

In other news, maybe this will be the solution. New driver coming today. BF4 launches friday, as long as things are working fine by then ill be happy. :p

Give a driver clean un install ago, try the new driver uninstaller ;)
 
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
21355, 314062, 43, 101, 67.996

Ran a 1440P bench on the MP (the flooded map) and this was returned Ultra settings with 2xmsaa. However....That doesn't show the full picture. This feels quite stuttery in honesty and more noticable when you strafe left or right. In fact, it is quite off putting :(

Anyone else getting this?

YES, that is exactly what im getting, along with cpu spike central. :D

However i can fix the cpu spike thing by disabling frame pacing and using vsync. Go figure :confused:
 
I monitored my CPU and it isn't spiking and even fraps bench viewer isn't showing it as bad but I can sure feel it. If you watch Booms video, that is exactly how I am getting it. When he strafes, you can clearly see it is stuttery but looks fine when running forward.

As we are both getting it, I am now thinking it is to do with the game for some or hoping it is.

Yeah i can see that, its just jerks and stutters during any sideways moment, its a mess. DICE need to fix that. FarCry 3 was the same.
 
man I need to see if my copy has come yet; still at work for another hour; then 40 minute drive home to carve pumpkins with my boy.......then and only then will I get the chance to possibly load it up.....

but won't be too bad as I have my son on friday and he loves watching me play BF3; so might feed out to my TV to play some BF4 :D
