***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

not average frame rate, no, I time a 30 min session at 40fps average with 2 cards.

I get peaks well above 40fps in Ultra in some spots though.

I get 60fps with 3 cards.

Have you checked the temperature of your cards to confirm they are not throttling?

The other thing I would try is to disable ULPS, you can do this via Afternburner or Trixx.

Temps are fairly toasty on the top card but never impacted BF3 performance. c80 degrees. Doubled checked and ulps is disabled

Already done that a few time Betsy. might stick with 1 card for tonight to get some game time in then do it at the end of the night.

So re enabled CF and still GFx cards both at c40% usage but memory usage is at 4gb and maxed out on afterburner.

Something definitely isn';t right

I have put my hand through my £250 STRIKE 7 keyboard today due to poor netcode and crashes. Had enough. I clicked uninstall... and then redownloaded it in 30 mins with Virgin 140Mb BB... typical me!

Banter with your guys aside, those CQ servers are good

Yep. Had loads today

I have been using the PERFOVERLEY thing and noticed that the green line is waaaaaaaaaaay above the yellow line. IIRC that means the gcards are struggling? 2 x 280Xs with a [email protected]... really? It takes me back to BF3 having issues with multicard setups

Just had a hour and managed to get on a few maps, loving the game!

Full server on Siege of Shanghai, full ultra, 90FOV 4xMSAA
2013-11-01 00:05:45 - bf4
Frames: 39324 - Time: 369062ms - Avg: 106.551 - Min: 65 - Max: 170

Full server on Paracel Storm, same settings
2013-11-01 00:42:45 - bf4
Frames: 48660 - Time: 556390ms - Avg: 96.457 - Min: 60 - Max: 192

Happy with the performance so far.

It's fantastic.

I was in a RCB ripping it up. Then the storm came and I was giving it loads, ramping waves and everything.....it was such a badass moment I was singing the Battlefield theme to myself :D

Speaking of waves, never thought such a simple thing would add SO MUCH depth to gameplay. Losing sight of enemy assets beyond waves and having to re-sight them is amazing.

Virgin Have 140mb??? I thought I was on highest Package 120mb?
 
Had a quick game just now, ultra custom settings, x4msaa, hbao on at 1920x1200. Felt really smooth. Im still on beta bf4 release nv drivers as well. Didnt have any monitoring apps running but the game felt great when playing it.
