***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Well I just decided to disable my second 7950 to see if it made a difference and to my shock the game is feeling MUCH MUCH smoother even though watching the frames its only geting 40 max and lows of 30 it feels 10x better than the 60-80 with 2 of them, I thought this was an issue that was no longer around.
 
Was fun streaming those games even with the crashes :). Hope you enjoyed. Wasn't really doing anything special... just playing normally, although a few of the pistol kills were showing off.

I'll stream some more when OCUK guys are playing together in the future. On holiday in Chicago for a week now though. Hopefully the game has been fixed when I get back!

Just checked my CPU usage while streaming: ~90% on each thread :D. Good work out for the old IB 3770k. About time it had some work to do :D.
 
It might not default to notepad (and may not open automatically). Failing that right click the file > open with and select notepad.

iirc they're .cvs files.
 
About the frame pacing issue a few of us on AMD crossfire cards (only affects cayman and tahiti cards) are having, Thracks said this...

"With regards to the frame pacing issue, this is an application issue that EA is investigating."

So it looks like a Dice/EA issue. No surprises there. Waiting on the game patch from Dice.

I'm only using on average 65% GPU usage GTX 780's sli, this isn't to good as BF3 uses 98% on both cards most of the time, we need new drivers and game updates me thinks.

I also get stuttering in the single player game, online isn't to bad but it's still not perfect, I have used fraps and the game averages 95fps even when it stutters fps is still in the 90's

Yeah same here on crossfire mate. This is not an AMD/Nvidia driver issue. This is a disgraceful buggy game.
 
That's my issue I can see 100fps in 64p online games yet running one card and getting 40fps feels lots better, the last time a game felt like that was crysis 2 when I had crossfire 6950's

Getting a max of 92% gpu usage, though running my cpu at stock is probably the cause of that. I know, stock speed are two words that dont belong on this forum.:o

Ill be readressing this discrepancy as soon as i get my new memory in.
 
Anyone got a good link to what all the graphic settings do?

Most maps are pretty smooth but some do have some major drop in fps and stuttering, so wanted to know what settings I could back off and notice much change in graphics.

I have all settings at ultra except 2x Ssma (dam forgot what it's called)
 
The more I play this game, the more I want to uninstall it. Not smooth, crashes when I am playing well, crashes when I am playing bad, sound goes but the worst thing of all is the campers. Even when I unload a full clip into them, they turn and kill me...hit regs are poor.
 
Tearing my hair out, (well what little i have) at the amount of crashing. It's worse than a demolition derby.

@Ashman, im not suffering any fps drops. Running the same settings as you are. Quite often the game does stutter. But this seems to be more of a server issue. When i do get onto a good server, (one that doesnt crash) the game runs very nicely.
