Back to download failing every few minutes again here, when it is running ok im getting about 900 kbps. 6gb done so far but this last bit looks like its gonna take a while. Tried the origin beta fix whereby you add the EACore.ini file but still just as bad.

Anyone been on the new chain link game mode?

@setter, I'll see if I can package the game files for you tonight and host them, should then be a case of repair install and download missing files.

Seems to have settled down again now mate, 87% done and getting 1mbps now. Once completed i make a backup to a second internal drive and another on an external. Saves a lot of bandwidth/downloading again should something go wrong on the primary drive and a format is required.

Liking the maps ive played so far, lumpy garden and pearl market. Great for infantry play. Though the latter does feature a lot of scrambling across rooftops like floodzone.

I had a quick blast on it but not sure what is what. I think you have to go for A then B, C etc and vice versa. It will get messy.

The new maps look good but just found it is sniper heaven/hell

I think they're all great. Especially 64 player Pearl Market

Spam airburst at snipers, they'll soon get fed up

Come to a conclusion that a single 780 at 1920x1200 maybe just doesnt cut it in this. Playing just a few mins ago on the following settings. 1920x1200, ultra preset, HBAO on, x2 msaa, 16xaf, blur off. Not smooth at all in shot below.

But if i drop everything to the lowest setting the graph looks a lot better.

My graph thing was doing the same on that map setter...

How was it playing for you in that round? A few times it felt like a slideshow yet fps were way above 60.

It felt crud mate, frames were 150-180 and it felt like 40. Will have to try on other servers to isolate the issue. GPU line just darting up and down constantly, even looking up st the sky which should cause a flat line didn't help.

In a way I'm relived as I'm having a mare flashing my cards and thought I'd broken something
