***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

feeling kinda left out with just one top shelf GPU.

They don't get the relationship that single GPU owners have. They may have their favourite but it's just the card that clocks the highest.

We have to coax the best we can from our only horse and in doing so we learn about it, we care about it.

And if you really want something to bench against, I have a 780 that gets around 100 fps with good looking settings at 1440p.
I am not very good at benchmarking.

But when you can get two for not much money, it's hard to resist. £290.00 8 months ago for my first 780, £255.00 for the second. Both still under warranty. Id struggle to afford a single new high end card, ie 780ti.

Damn those are some good prices, I thought I got lucky with my £280 reference card. Though that was on the bay where things are a little more expensive.

Just out of curiosity how well do your's overclock? I have been upping the core clock of my 780 by 13mhz between each round of BF4 and gotten to 1228Mhz at 1.212v before my internet went full potato. Memory I have set and left at 3250Mhz.

Setter that spot cool fan you sold me is doing wonders for my TriFire setup. Just ordered another one so i can focus it on one remaining hot area in my case. Really helps bring temps down to respectable levels for no increase in noise. I have it positioned in the space between card 2 and 3 (two slot gap) and i have it pushing hot air towards my rear exhaust. Works wonderfully well. The second will sit on the core of gpu1 to bring temps down a few more C and keep it in line with the other two cards.

First one does 1189/3305. New one is capable of 1200/3505, though I've yet to clock them as a pair. One rev1, other is the newest rev2 model, x2 8 pin vs a 6 and 8 pin on the old one.

I've found that even mild memory overclocks really hurt the core clock I can get so I leave it at stock for the most part. Testing 1267 at the moment (1280 failed)

What is a spot fan? Is it one of those PCI fans that Max had or some small focused flow fan?
