I still see the odd dip into the 50s on 290 crossfire. Only big explosions though. Titan x does look superior to 290 crossfire though, and the perf graph was super smooth though looks like you're only playing tdm - so not as full on as 64 man conquest

Really interested to see what the 390 and 980ti have to offer

I am not really a fan of BF4 but do enjoy a blast on TDM now and then and more fun with 64 players :D

Christ those frames are good Greg!!!!

I'm easily a good 15-20% lower on sli 780's.

I think if I can get £350-400 for my 780's I'll just grab a tX and a smaller case.

I honestly feel that these are far better value than the original Titans. Frames are just stupidly high and easily matches and surpasses a pair of Titans in most games.

Big outlay but worth it for me :)

The TX actually makes SLI780 and Titans look like kids toys.
I'm seriously impressed with it. My problem has always been i don't run settings that high so never *need* a card that powerful i tend to upgrade out of want rather than need.

So you can imagine the urge i'm needing to fight not to get these.

You and me both mate. I've been reading nothing but positives about the TX, but I know deep down inside it'll be wasted on me so I reluctantly pull my finger off rhe trigger time and time again.

Plus, having to explain this kind of cash to the wife when "there's nothing wrong with my current one" is not a discussion I intend having any time soon :p

Yep, to put it in further perspective, I was running around on a single 780 the other day on metro (low demand map) and was averaging 45-60fps at full ultra 1440, this was indoors too, I'd wager the TX would be up around 120-130.

Fancy giving it a go Greg?

I'm hoping the 980ti offers similair performance, sli 780's work pretty well in this game but the heat can be an issue on air cooling. Tx would be nice but simply cant afford to spend that much on a single component. Doubt the main parts of my system come to the price of a tx.:D

Here is a Stock 3930K and Stock Titan X 1189/7000 running 4K Ultra (MSAA dropped to X2).

I will do a 3930K OCed and Titan X OCed later, but if I recall correctly its around a 10-12 FPS increase.

This is with FOV at 70 (default is 55)

The results are 1000/Frametimes from the frametimelog file running a 32 man TDM

your graph looks very blurry is that the best image a £1000 titan x can capture? :p (joking)

I'll record some tomorrow with sli 780's to show you how much that TX is kicking ass, I saw highs upward of 150 there!!

Do you regret buying two Greg? Looks like one is hammering 1440.

Almost fully 1080P 60fps encoded :)

Ohhh and I left the default NCP fan profile on to show what temps and throttling happens. Fan was very quiet.

I wanted to ask what are you using for recording?

also are you voltage overclocked too?

I could do a comparison if you like I have SLI 780 TI

also is this 64 or 32?

Shadowplay for recording.

Just recorded a run through on metro, same settings as you greg, 1440, full ultra, 4xmsaa, 55 FOV, lucky if I broke over 100fps!

2560x1600 with all the bells and whistles.

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
48393, 402451, 2, 164, 120.246

Ignore the minimum as my av program kicked in so had to alt tab. The higher res does up card use a good bit though. Ill try and get a better run done later. That was 64 player metro cq, fov of 74.

Looks like we both need a titan x in our setups. Not to say that 780 sli is slow by any means, but the minimums on the tx are unbelievable in comparison.

Ran this again, now this is odd.

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
124364, 600000, 115, 284, 207.273

My user.cfg was set to 0 for max fps, which is default, (could be wrong though)? Yet it was hitting 284 where the game caps at 200 fps. At 2560x1600 ive seen minimums as low as 60, never as high as 115.
