***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

I don't think anybody is saying 2GB is enough definitely but people are taking issue with general statements saying 2GB isn't enough.

Generally, it does help if you read :p.

I tried playing in the 64 man game but did not last that long as I don't know that much about BF4

Here is the fps from FRAPS

Oh Greg, I haven't forgiven you for what you did to me in the lift the other day. Led me to the top of the skyscraper as it was on its way down.

And he jumped out in time. *******

I found an old-ish article the other night that was going into brief detail how FB 2.0 handles LOD and textures (specifically when there is less VRAM) I'll link it if I find it again...

I think people should be more worried about the ultra specs for watchdogs then bf4, recommended ultra spec = as many threads as you can lay your grubby little hands on and a 2gb vram minimum

Freind of mine is a server admin, so I asked him if he'll be on his BF3 server tonight as he was having terrible time on BF4 and our platoon would be looking for BF3. But he says he's gonna be rockin the beta as EA are sorting something out with the beta today. So here's not holding my breath for a 'non-rubberfest' this evening.

Here's hoping!

I've had a short 30 minute game of this, enjoyed it and looking forward to the full release. I'm still hoping for a BF1942 on this engine at some point. I will check actual FPS tonight but it ran super smooth and I didn't detect any lag or slowdowns.

Hahaha, I was laughing a goodun as I see it coming down :D (with my parachute)

Played with Pgi last night and let him stick his head out to act as cannon fodder while I cleaned up :D

Team game???? yer right :D

It is pretty annoying. Im kinda tempted to borrow the monitor from my second system to use it for displaying a few monitoring apps in game. Desk would need a major clearout to make room for it though.:D

This is what i'll be doing tomorrow.. my third monitor runs off the mobo's vga port using Sandy's HD 3000 graphics.. I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned to do this yet :)

It may have something to do with the fact it's going out as an Open Beta tomorrow!

If you have a 2nd monitor, why not just use that instead of a 3rd? Are you playing over 2 screens?
