***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Loaded the map, 1440p Ultra settings, x4AA motion blur off. 2.3gb vram usage straight off the bat. Quit immediately, will monitor it closely when i play shortly. Running smooth on 7950 crossfire. Fps definitely lower than bf3 though. Will give some more solid numbers shortly.

Caching . Saw 2.4GB usage on my 7950s at 5760x1080 whereas on the 680s it was mysteriously on 1.9GB :).

Edit: BF3.

Wowzer, 40fps from a 7950 with 4xmsaa! Did the amd chaps get a driver update for the beta? I hope this is down to it being an old build or at 1600p+ this is going to cripple anything thats not 3 high end cards!

Can we get some min max avg over the course of a round?

@imginy, can you host a screeny of what video options you have in bf4, see if anyhing stands out as unnecessarily high or even on.

Running at 1168Mhz and 1724 Mem, I am sitting above 80 fps constant @ Ultra with CPU at 4.625. Not as demanding as I was expecting. Only got a reading from FRAPS, as AB isn't displaying on screen.

I will get the vram readings now as well and use GPU-Z for this. Not sure if any 680/70/770/760 owners can do the same.

Edit: BF3.

Doesn't happen like that for me on bf3, most of my caching always occurs at round end. That's when i see my vram usage climb when the next map loads. At the round end i was seeing about 2.5gb vram usage.

FPS 65-100 on 7950 crossfire. AMD's optimization is spot on. Nvidia friends in TS reporting stuttering/low gpu usage. Will post more as i discover it.

EDIT

Afterburner overlay does not work.

Yes but you haven't compared 3GB and 2GB cards in a like for like scenario. As I said an immediate difference in memory used between both setups.

Where's that guy who has SLI 770s - maybe he can test... :D

*gif*

Maxed out on my GTX 690s @1080p used 1.8gb, @1600p used the full 2gb but ran fine

The SLI support is crap though I was only getting 22% to 25% usage on the 4 GPUs lol.

Game was averaging about 40fps @1080p and 22fps @1600p all we need now is a good set of drivers.

I was struggling to get over 60 fps in the first game i played, i've not changed any settings so I'm at whatever the default is.

My system seems to be CPU dependent though, i was getting poor utilisation on my 7850s, probably around 50-60% being reported by Afterburner on my keyboard LCD.

edit: oh and that 60fps was peak, i'd say about 45 fps on average with single figure spikes.

Getting 40-60fps 1080p everything maxed out on Ultra on Core i5 2400 @ 3.6GHz, Crossfire 7850 16x/4x.

40-60 on crossfire 7950's ! Thats not great for us with only x1 7950 ! I assume that is 1080P

Can people people share their fps on Afterburner. Just pick a point in the middle of the variation and thats the average.
