***THE BF4 BENCHMARKS THREAD***

Just ran it on the Titans @stock

Performance was roughly

Min 70

Ave 120

Max 160

As you can see from the pics the drivers may need some work for 4 way SLI.:D

I was getting @ 40-55FPS @ 1080p at the default game settings with my CF6870.

Come on Gibbo do a real steal deal tomorrow. Might have to part with some cash in exchange for a super duper Gfx card.

Try upping your depth of field to 90 kaap unless 70 is what you usually use, 90 is usually the recommended setting giving you more on screen and you may get some more load through those titans.

nice! but isnt FOV 70 cheating?^^
& i know this is the gfx card section but id like to know the cpu usage too :)

670 + 3570k, I should be good to go right? Ultra settings, 2x msaa?

Hmm might be time for SLI.

Question here is now, whether SLI is actually worth it, as 2Gb cards will get vram bottlenecked.

What's up with your 690 performance Kaap? You sure 2gb is enough for 1600p Ultra+x4AA ala 22fps?

Would be less than 22FPS if he was running out of VRAM. It's like single digit jumping around all over the shop.

this thread is pretty much going to decide whether i go for a 7970 or 780 in my new build! decisions decisions!

More a question of how much do you want to pay? A 780 is noticeably faster than a 7970 but at a large price premium.

Its not always that though as pcper have discovered. It can also represent itself as stuttering or hitching. I'll ask tommy to dig out the graph and article. 4gb 680 was fine, 2gb 680 was not this was in bf3 at 5780x.

Yes

It's the GPU usage on 4 way SLI @22%.

I am only getting about 22fps @1600p but it's not a vram slide show.:D

@1080p I am only getting 40fps and the cards are only using 1.8gb of vram

In conclusion the performance is crap at the moment on 4 way gk104s.

I would probably get better performance by disabling SLI.

The Titans are rubbish on 4 way SLI as well but not as bad as the GTX 690s.

Sure way to tell would be to drop aa to 0 and see what the frame rates are. Would be pretty surprised if the titans have sli support and the gtx690's don't as surely that would also effect gtx670/680/770 etc which is a much wider user base. Reading Kaap's post above it does seem that way though. Nvidia dropped the ball big time if this is the case.
