That's good to hear! I'm downloading as we speak and I'm looking forwards to seeing what my 580 can do.

Just out of interest, how much VRAM does your 570 have? And what CPU are you running? Just trying to scope how I'm going to do!

It wouldnt matter how high the i5 is clocked tbh.

This is true I tried my 3570k at 4.8ghz and it still couldn't handle my single 7950 on bf4 64 players.

Can't wait for my upgrade

Installed Windows 8 to try out Neil's theory and....



Found the same, game didn't crash once in an hour of playing, previous two nights were nothing but continuous crashes, couldn't finish a round but today it was fine, Game was nice and smooth

Could just be blind luck, or sabotage on MS's part to force an uptake of Windows 8

Seems about right,

If you change antiailising post to low the game seems to look better and has better performance.

If using msaa i just turn post aa off alltogether. Also dropping to x2 msaa will give a few extra fps.

Quite a lot of people have said windows 8 runs it a lot better.

Yeah tell me about it, its a hot puppy, i'm not fussed about 80c, if it gets to ~90c then i will panic.

okay win 8 pro on and i have to admit after running benchmarks its faster in bf4 definitely than win7.

on low on win 7 i avg about 85-90 .

lol at bait something wrong then cause im avg 105 fps on win 8 nearly same set up. on ultra probably be hitting 60 fps now avg lol.

best thing is its been benchmarked and shown that at 1080 a i5 will actually be same or quicker with one card hahaha.
