The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Now you mention Hogan, i remember reading that JR had an interview on a radio station in the USA and said there is a slight possibility for a Hogan vs Austin at WM25. Its very unlikely to happen though because Austins knee's are completely shot and Hogan is only in it for a payday after all this kerfuffle with his family.

Would be brilliant to see though :D

im wanting christian to return and reform edge and christian and the hardys to team back up and get some TLC matches again. hardys need to go extreme again.

if christian doesnt win the rumble i would like taker or batista to win it. i can see them repeating last years rumble but with christian taking cenas place.

Well thank god Batista is injured :p so he wont be winning the rumble thats for sure!

He is one of the worst guys in there in terms of ability, he is just a big guy with no ability really!

I don't really like Jack Swagger as a character, but I have to admit that he is technically very good. Well as good as they can be. He pulls off the moves well, his moves are slightly more realistic also, no side effects or whatever, just big knees, chops, physical moves.

My rumble predictions: Ken KEEEENNNNNEEEDDYY <---- hasn't wrestled for a while, but they do have him hanging around a lot, working the mic. I also think that something will happen between Shelton and 'Taker. Either its a bit of a run up for Taker to get a bit of ring fitness back ready for a big push or they are doing some story that will just go belly up.

i had no idea batista was injured :p

this weeks raw had a bit of a suprise ending, the kick to vince looked like it actually hurt a lot, especialy in slow-mo. wonder what will happen to orton now.

Yeah it was quite a surprise ending but as said Jericho is now officially in the Rumble :D

I for one am hoping that he wins the thing, I love having him back in WWE!

Did anyone check out the Royal Rumble Stats Video? They seemed to push the number 27 quite a bit as the main number since most people have won from there!

I'd like to see someone come in at number 1-5 and win it. No more of this crap with the number 30 winning.

Dont think we'll see that either. I think we will probably see someone like Orton start up early on this year and go on quite a run, though I would like to see him win it after his altercation with Vince.

Does this scenario sound plausible going into the Rumble?

As punishment for his "head punt" on Vince, Steph hand picks Ortons' number at the Rumble which indeed is Number 1 and then he goes onto win it with a little help from his chums.

I could see that happening. My picks to win the RR are:

Orton
Y2J
HBK (if he is in it)

Now that I think about it, Orton needs a rumble win in his career if he is going to go down as one of the best in wwe. It makes sense.

It was Tute mentioning 1-5 that made me begin to think about it....

If Orton is going to win it on the back of Raw this week then he will certainly be Number 1 in the Rumble....

Also Vince was about to "Fire him" before the attack also....I think regardless Orton will be starting at Number 1 as either punishment or to keep his job he has to win it!

You're right though he needs a Rumble win and a good time to do it too!

Jericho winning it would be awesome but I think he will be in MITB this year instead at WM!

Though I have to admit the Rumble that pained me the most was the one Rey Mysterio won....

Oh no, please for the love of God don't remind me of that.

Orton must win after that altercation at the end of Raw. Shaping up to be a brilliant Rumble for sure :)

I wasn't watching at the time, was it that cringeworthy?

Watching Rey for over an hour, (62minutes 12 seconds according to Raw's little vignette last night) throw huge guys over the top rope with silly moves like hurricanrana's. Cringeworthy doesn't do it quite the justice :p

Ah, so it was like when they tried to put over the story of him beating Kane?

Most ridiculous thing i've ever seen.

Yeah almost as bad as that, the thing was it was after Eddie Guerrero died and he came down in his low-rider car and done some Eddie-esque dance on it before heading to the ring as Number 1/2....so immediately you knew who was going to win it....was just baaaaaaaaaaad!

I'm going to have nightmares if you keep on about it :P

This weeks RAW has been the best in quite a while. The Orton/Vince angle was brilliant and i can see something HUGE comming out of this if the WWE writers get there asses into gear. We don't have another RAW before the RR so hopefully Orton can win this and when Steph wants to fire him for kicking her dad and the owner of the WWE he can claim that you can't fire the winner of the RR or something along those lines.

Can't wait for the Royal Rumble and next weeks RAW, they are going to be epic.
