Welcome to Impact Wrestling Force Global.. LOL

Oh and WTF is STEINER doing back??? Oh that's right WWE wouldn't consider him because of his ROID use as well as being a loose cannon. That said I would love to see Brock bring him down a peg or 10!

Someone get this demented old geezer into the old folks home ffs, yet again wwe changing their stance and opinion of someone depending on how they're portrayed in the media. In this instance Hogan, who Vince since around 2002 has called the babe Ruth of WWE is now ousted for Captain Generic. And this is the guy who thinks he's still "in touch" with the public,....double :rolleyes:

This is the problem with the Babe Ruth analogy, there was nobody ever better. So when you call somebody the Babe Ruth of your sport then somebody better comes along you can't call them a super Babe Ruth lol.

That Bray and Orton match last night at Payback was hilarious. All the music added on as if it was a horror film, and made out like it was a fully edited film with the camera angles and transitions....someone will surely be out of a job tomorrow

Don't agree with that, Yankee stadium for years was called the house that Ruth built until they finally moved to a new stadium. Didn't matter how many players equalled or bettered his records, that name still stood as baseball was in the doldrums and with Babe Ruth slamming in Home runs left and right it got a resurgence in popularity.

WWF was much the same thing, its pretty much widely known that if Wrestlemania 1 hadn't been a success they were going to be flushed down the crapper. Hogan had a huge surge of popularity after appearing in Rocky 3 and it followed him to the WWF where he became the main attraction, that basically bolstered the WWF and they enjoyed a huge surge in popularity. Simple fact is if not for Terry Bollea playing the part of Hulk Hogan there would most likely be no WWF for Stone Cold, The Rock, or captain generic Cena.

So as usual Vince is talking out of his ass, typical wwe tactics of trying to spin or twist things to suit whats currently acceptable. Example

Yeah that's the issue, WWE used Hogan for the Ruth comparison, then when somebody better/bigger came along there was no new comparison so had to use the same one.

The thing is that's not actually true, it's just some of the revisionist nonsense WWE peddle like being the underdogs during the monday night wars. Even if Hogan had never existed WWE would still have been to dominant promotion in the 80's just with Savage moving up the card. And if you take that to it's logical conclusion there would have been no NWO, no WCW surge and no competition for WWE in the 90's. The overall difference to WWE would be minimal, it would be (ironically) WCW and TNA that would be damaged the most by no Hogan.

I think you'll find its more factual than they care to admit, some Japanese money actually helped with Wrestlemania one and that was repaid by appearances with wwf wrestlers in Japanese promotions. As for Savage, he never signed with the WWF til mid 1985, a few months after Wrestlemania 1, so its fair to say that its possible that the wwf may not have even been around by the time he signed.

As for the Babe Ruth comparison, they can't just re-use the saying, there's simply only one, end of story. Its just the fact that wrestling isn't a legitimate sport that they think they can rewrite history and nobody will notice. Calling someone the Babe Ruth of something is basically calling them the main draw that the company was built around, without whom they might not have survived. Nobody can top that and it's not something they can just randomly reapply to someone else especially when financially they're incredibly well off.

That House Of Horror gimmick was stupid.. and the hate Roman gets makes me laugh. Crowd chanting thank you Strauman as he's murdering Roman with the "steel" steps.

And yet they will still continue to push Reigns, i'll say again, this is the company that supposedly "listens to the fans" but somehow couldn't manage to notice Cena getting hostile reactions for years now. So the Reigns burial from the crowd will continue while the 70 year old "billionaire" will rock back and forth in his chair thinking he's right and its all going to plan. The sooner that room of yes men writers is replaced by people with a set of balls that can call a spade a spade, and tell Vince when he's full of **** the better.

He could call it swing from my Gonads for all the difference it makes (well the writers would be experienced in that field), there's far too many ppv's which are nothing more than glorified raw's to begin with. Go back to the 4 big ones when ppv's were actually something special, right now its just wwe overload with raw being 3 hours, smackdown 2 hours, then you have all the wwe network crap followed by these half assed ppv events.

To be honest, Roman could be decent if he learnt to wrestle - I dont think I have ever seen him suplex, DDT, Backflip, Armdrag anyone.

It is always - Samoan Drop, Spear, Superman punch - occasionally a dive over the ropes.

And the PPV name is the worst ever.
