The Countdown Has Begun...... Fallout 3

just preordered limited edition. was thinking to preorder simple game then though what fan of fallout series i would be if i would not have limited edition :)
 
I've never played any of the Fallout series yet - even though so many have said how good they are. I love oblivion and hope the Fallout 3 is just as great~ Got my collector's edition ordered, just for the lunchbox and bobble head toy :D

Oooh... never thought of that ;) Perhaps I could get away with playing the demo :D

Not sure which version to hint about... the soundtrack CD is tempting but I have no idea what the music is like!

You should pick up a copy, you can buy a single DVD version with fallout 1, 2 and tactics on for very cheap, I did that and am currently playing through them just because I am looking forward to fallout 3 and they are games that I should have played by now. Enjoying them very much so far :D
 
It was either this or dead space to use my vouchers up with so i pre-ordered the collector's edition, should be pretty good but i will pick up Dead Space sooner or later.

be sure to use resolution pack looks better

ps: dead space does not look as good as f3 my opinion just watched some ingame videos
 
I've just had my order for Fallout 3 Collectors Edition cancelled :mad: by a very well known online shop (name of a big river).
I've had this on order for months now and really wanted the collectors edition.

I had a look on there web site and you can only order it off a "Marketplace seller" now, which I dont like to use.

Where are you getting yours from?
Looks like I will have to get the standard edition if I still want to use Am****.co.uk.
 
Apparently the collectors edition is truly limited. The online game shop I moderate for have stopped preorders because they can hardly get any.

However, as a mod my copy is guaranteed :D

I think you might be right they now dont have any for sale. :(
 
best idea is to try that store that deals with just games and consoles and also where you trade them in. Got my pre-order in no probs plus you get to pick it up in store AND get the bonus music cd and keyring!
 
I think that there is going to be a lot of unhappy people who are hoping that there pre-orders are going to be fullfilled!

Sorry to be pessimistic.
 
Just a quick question, will they actually be selling the Collector's Edition of Fallout 3 in-store in the purple shop and it's other store (once competitor)? As if so I'm contemplating cancelling my online pre-order and just going into town and buying it on the day from the store.
 
I actually ended up pre-ordering both the Limited Edition (PC) and the Collectors Edition (PS3) the other day but have since cancelled the PS3 copy - I've never even played a Fallout game before so I'll be buggered if I'm going to buy the same game twice when I might not even like it just for a lunch box and a bobble head toy :rolleyes:

I'm content with just the LE and the toy that comes with that :p

I see... should be interesting. I quite liked some of BioShock's tracks. Although I'm sure I heard a differen't kind of music played during one of the official video previews. Maybe it was added afterwards :confused:

Preordered mine at my local town (collector's) i hope i get it but im not bothered either way as its the game i want. They said they will be getting atleast 10 limited edition's and their was only 1 other person pre-ordered for the collectors :D.
 
Actually, would my PC run the game well? My spec is in my signature. If so, I may end up pre-ordering the PC version instead as that costs quite a bit less to be honest so if I can save some money I will do (Plus, theres the modding aspect). Could I get it looking as good as it would on the 360 on my PC at 1280x1024, maybe 2xAA? Also, looking at the specs and how well it would run, would it actually be worth it buying the PC version over the 360 in terms of graphics quality?

Does anyone know if Bethesda are releasing a construction set for Fallout 3?
