The Countdown Has Begun...... Fallout 3

Where do I find that Mechanist guy? I hear it's in a place called Canterbury but whereabouts should I be looking for that on the map? I've just been to the Vault-Tec headquarters and got all of the Vault locations on my map now.

Been to Evergreen Mills? Got loads of ammo through fighting in there, then found a trader who had loads of stuff on him. Plus there's a Bobblehead down there.
 
Kill/pickpocket Smiley Jack (the merchant in the bazaar section of the mill) and get "The Terrible Shotgun" upgraded version of a combat shotgun :)
 
is there such gun as a BOZAR ? in f3 like it was in f2 it was my favorite gun.

1 bulet damage did 25-35.

but it always did burst fire with 15 bullets so it was like 25-35x15 , so damage would be around 375~ 525 minus defense + critical

Hmmmm, reached Canterbury Commons, got the quest to stop The Mechanist and the AntAgonzier from fighting, gone to The Mechanist's hideout and he's not there. I waited for 13 hours, gone back and he's still not there, in the Mechanist's Forge room.
 
I have used two mods to slow down my xp...

One increases the bar of xp so I am currently level 8 and to get to level 9 I needed 5600..using the mod has now moved this to 8900.

Also used another mod (game has to be on hard difficulty) you can change the difficulty within the gameplay screen and save I guess (thats what I did was playing on normal before)

This one dumbs down the amount of XP you recieve.

Just tested on a raider normal gives 25XP with the mod I only got 7XP! \0/

I know it aint perfect but if it slows me down a little enough to explore and stuff I dont mind :)

Lower XP mod:

- Drop the file into your \Fallout 3\Data Folder;
- open Fallout.ini (in My Documents folder) and change bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1;
- use the launcher to start the game, click on "Data Files" and check lower xp.esp.

Increase XP Bar:

Then go to Fallout Launcher and select DataFiles and select the two you have added to the Fallout 3\Data Folder

Once you tick these and go back into the Data Folder they will be unchecked...but trust me they are enabled! :)

I have reached lv 20, and although i wish i could continue you level up, this will give me more replay value. If it took me exploring the whole world to get to 20 and do the main quest, then it would be repetative the 2nd time round. if i finish the main quest now that im 20 then i can play the game a 2nd or 3rd time and still have new things to do.

Springdale School - it's at the other end of Springdale (the far end from Megaton).

There were notes on the terminal in the school that suggested the Raiders were trying to blast their way into a vault. Has anyone been able to do this yet?

I think that's just a theory of there's. If you get the explorer perk, you will see there is no vault around there.

They might have been looking for 101 but in the wrong place.
 
Has anyone managed to solve this "stuttering" issue yet?.

I've tried the tweak that is doing the rounds just now, the .ini file tweak :-

iFPSClamp=60

....but it made the game run like a dog and slow down quite a bit.

Any thoughts?.

Anyone else getting a bit of a stuttery perfromance?.
