The Countdown Has Begun...... Fallout 3

Does anyone have the item code for the unique chinese assaut rifle?

I stupidly fixed the wrong gun with it and did not realise. <doh!>

Cant find it anywhere on google.
 
i got hold of the Lincoln picture and killed the slavers on request by the slaves , on return to the slaves , gave them the news and they started to head off to the monumnet to start a slave haven.

i decided to follow them on thier jorrney, THEY ARE GOING THE COMPLETE WRONG WAY. instead of taking the metro's they just walkover the river and head off to megaton WTF. dog has died in 1 of many attacks.


i assume its expected of me to follow them because when i talk to one of them the dialogue gives me the option to have them stop whilst i scout for enemies up ahead.

I Just quick travelled to the memorial, waited for what seemed to be ages and then they finally arrived?!

i would have done this but i wanted to see what happened if i followed them, they go all around the ****ing place first . maybe a bug? i dont know, complete idiots, i should shooot them all.
 
they did the same with me..I just left them to it and they eventually turned up...though when I did see them it they took a tour round the washington monument and nearly got attacked by super mutants and wild dogs..but they did make it eventually!

tell me about it, i came across loads in Old Olney - 8 mines and 2 shotguns to the head just about finished them off! plus they killed dogmeat in about 2 seconds flat :(

Deathclaw sanctuary its the cave you want to be in.
Help in killing them is wide open spaces (which u dont have in a cave), and crippling their legs so they cant jump or rush you. The dart gun is very good for that, dart em and then slowly back away and continue to change clips.... keep the mutt at home, or it'll become deathclaw food....

I have a high sneak so I used that to get very close to them and used VATS to get a sneak attack critical with a nice shotgun to take most of it's health away.

But with some I forgot to sneak so that was much harder :o
 
I wondered about old olney..if it had any significance as all I found were dead people and death claws..so I figured the death claws had just wandered in and attacked and killed the people...I often come across random people fighting with wildlife out in the wastelend

there was an enclave outpost right next to the deathclaw santuary but they were all dead as were several deathclaws

it anothe part of tjhe game I like...you meet scavengers int he dc ruins..and I have gone back and found some dead and some still surviving, but with dead super mutants littered around

From memory you have to approach it from the south and go through a building that is full of super mutants. I used the underground to get close (Chevy Chase I think).

Try all the metro tunnels. Most areas of the city are split up into sections (proberly to help reduce lag), and each section is connected to eachother by the tunnels. The world map isn't too helpfull as it doesn't show the underground routes, and large sections of the city are not even accessable which doesn't help at all.

After waiting a few months for the dust to settle on the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 3, Bethesda announced today that it would be returning in January with the first of three new DLC packs for the game. As you likely know, they'll be coming to the 360 and PC, with no PS3 plans in sight. Straight from the company's release:


* Operation: Anchorage: Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe - the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders. An action-packed battle scheduled for release in January.

* The Pitt: Journey to the industrial raider town called The Pitt, located in the remains of Pittsburgh. Choose your side. Scheduled for release in February.

* Broken Steel: Join the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel and rid the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave remnants once and for all. Continues the adventure past the main quest. Scheduled for release in March.

PC gamers that just can't wait for new content will be happy to hear that they don't have to: Bethesda also revealed that content creation tools for the game, dubbed the Garden of Eden Creation Kit, will arrive on PC next month.
