The Crew

The tone certainly has changed in here! It's really great to finally see appreciation for this fantastic game.

I really hope they'll make a NFS game that's more like this and set in an exotic location instead of feeding us a half-assed Underground reboot with idiotic fistbumps all over the place.

The Crew's not perfect but it's fun and the map is fantastic whereas NFS 2016 is the least fun racing experience I've had in a while and the map's just utterly bland after Rivals. Hot Pursuit reboot was a lot better, despite Burnout handling (which is great, just not suited to NFS at all).

Forza Horizon 3 is my only hope:p Until that, I'm playing this, Dirt Rally and some Project Cars:p

100% agreed. I was hopeful when EA announced that new NFS will skip a year to allow for longer devcycle and better game, but the new NFS (that they even had the gall to call Need For Speed) was completely poor game...night only, boring city, no cockpit view, laaaame physics and cringeworthy, terrible embarrasing videos.
I mean people complained about Crew's story, but compared to NFS it is high art. I didn't cringe in Crew.

And yeah I am looking forward to Forza 3, I hope its australia will be at least half as big as US in Crew. But it will be WinStore only which suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks

not just because the store is terrible in every way, but also because it will be insanely overpriced.

I own Dirt Rally and Project Cars and they are great at what they do, but neither gives me even a tenth of a pleasure Crew gives me, because circuits became kinda boring to me.

I really hope that:

- WinStore improves a LOOOOT before Forza 3 comes out, and Forza 3 is fantastic
- EA get their head out of their azzes and release proper NFS, with good physics, cockpit views, open world in exotic location, great cars
- Ivory Tower is making Crew 2, preferably taking place in Europe

How did you gather so much money to get about 120 cars? I struggle to buy new ones!

Get some friends on uplay (the crew subreddit is ideal for that) and once you reach a certain part of the story (probably already did), you can send friends on virtual faction missions (they do not have to do anything in real life) which can net you around 150,000 dollars per day (for about 2 minutes of your real life time).
Here is a video of it

On the main map filter factions, click on the race, send friends..

It's a little difficult the first time but before you know it you'll be doing this ^ everytime you start the game. Have they curbed the amount of money you receive? I used to get about half a million every time and was absolutely loaded until I bought the additional cars DLC.

Also, does the season pass also include every upcoming release including this new expansion in November?

Looks good doesn't it!! The best part is that you don't need to buy it to experience player controlled cops. Can you imagine how difficult it's going to be to get away. Looks like the community will need to help out when they see someone being chased and won't that be a brilliant battle!

Wild Run expansion is £8.99 at the moment on Humble Bundle store.

^All I can see is the season pass giving some car packs. No Expansions that I can see.

Sadly season pass is only a bundle of extra cars, Wild Run is a separate purchase. Bad decision by Ubi, they should follow CD Projekt and Techland's examples of generous awesome DLC policies.

But some of those cars included are awesome. Ferarri 458 Speciale is my jam.
