The Cryptolambo had gone to the moon... Time for Cryptolambo 2!!!

6 police officers to pull a guy in a Lamborghini not breaking any law but oh it looks fast and sounds fast so lets try and book him.

The police wonder why they are hated, why on earth does it take 6 officers for this, would their time not be better spent patrolling on foot local towns, trouble spot areas. According to the news and politics we are massively short on police, so I am really confused why there is 6 of them harassing an innocent civilian because he drives a nice car.

Your right to complain, going over your car that is maintained to impeccable standards to try and do you, its a shame they don't seem to show as much interest when say a car is stolen......

Why are you so triggered over this? Is 4 cops in 2 cars any better?

Hope this gets cleared up kindai. Sounds doubtful they’ve got anything substantial to warn you about.
I'm triggered?

Man in Lambo with insanely loud custom exhaust boots it in supermarket, gets spotted by nearby coppers who perform attitude test, gets some regular/valid challenge over valid concerns (why boot a Lambo in Tescos; we have all past that stage in our life surely?).

Cue outrage from forum who think 6 coppers in 2 3 unmarked cars only went out of their way to hunt this guy down versus were local and pulled him to perform attitude test and get on with their way.

Seems a none story to me but apparently it has triggered FOI requests and to hunt the 6 coppers down who probably deal with the "typical Lambo" driver day in day out.

attitude test

Attitude test went out the window when the first thing he did was caution me. At that point I am not going to be friendly with him nor say anything which *may* self incriminate, so my answers were short and relevant or no comment.

Given it now turns out based on a few hours of looking at case law and CPS guidelines, he doesnt have a leg to stand on, plus 3 cars and 6 coppers (intimidation factor?) (expecting me to gun it?) and the lovely fact that the only thing it can cost me at this point is some time and maybe some cash, then why not, nothing to lose.

....to be fair, they probably pulled you for being in a supermarket, which is not unreasonable.

Since joining this forum in 2006 I've told you all to stop mixing with 'normal people' once you get a supercar (or Polo GTi). They only bring confusion and housing estate, corner sofa, 75 inch, Gucci belt wisdom to you, often with the hidden 'nice mota' agenda, which is so they can snap a photo of them for their FaceWall pretend life 'look at my Polo'.

Let them bring the supermarket to you in future, ask for Dave in the Purple van. Rozzers can't come into your castle that way, pull up the draw bridge and get the 'staff' to deal with it.

Though to be fair, if it was a 3 for the price of 2 day on Jaffa cakes....in like Flynn

Its a "Warning notice" form which states they could seize the vehicle within the next 12 months under section 59. Though doesnt seem to imply the form itself is a section 59 form.

Its labeled as PRA59W.

That is the “first stage” of a S59. Unfortunately that means a marker on your car and likely more hassle for a year at least. Get another and they can take the car etc etc.

There is no right of appeal for this in law, just some shaky guidance that the chain of command might follow to remove the marker etc in some cases.

Section 59 was well intentioned to deal with the antisocial behaviour crew outside McDonald’s etc but has unfortunately been badly written and is taken to be applicable for all sorts of things where a stern wag of the finger might have sufficed in the past.

They can only show interest in what’s in front of them. I’m sure if it was a stolen car on the PNC they’d have a field day chasing it.

The real evidence in that as an organism, the police are only out to protect their pay masters. There must be 20 police officers outside the Belgrave Square property occupied by anarchists, which is I reckon approximately 20 more than ever checked the provenance of the money that bought it.

Even if you’ve got a lambo, you are up against an army of officers containing some fantastic people, but also containing utter power tripping abusive jealous waste men who can’t get laid, who are in an organisation that is utterly broken when it comes to priorities of helping your regular person vs ensuring the power remains with the status quo.

So apparently they wernt happy with the way I accelerated the car.

Then proceeded to try and throw everything they could at me. Nothing would stick and they know it.

Ive often wondered how’d they react when I accelerate hard without breaking the speed limit. There’s not much that could stick, certainly not in court. All of those police, yet when a neighbour was mugged in our local park not a single copper would come out. They are such a disgrace. I’d complain with every ounce of my being. As a fellow petrolhead this ****** me off.

Reminds me of being pulled over years ago for ‘spot checks’ one late night in Wales due to farmers quads going missing. Keeping in mind I had a 2 seater convertible, I was like, what do you think is in the boot, a door to Narnia? Meanwhile of course they are checking tyres etc, but couldn’t do me on a thing. Scum.

Clearly being misused for bully tactics instead. If you have no previous police history in any way you can easily fight this.

Or, the chap with the bonkers car and insanely loud exhaust booted it in a tesco car park at midday and got his wrists slapped.

Your story is much better tho.
