***** The Crysis 2 Thread *****

You can't turn off AA whilst keeping ultra settings as far as I'm aware

You can with the advanced config tool. But it is need to be updated to support the new graphics options.

You can also force it off in the Nvidia control panel. Not sure if you can with the AMD catalyst though.

Guys do you think DX11 crysis 2 is a good indicator of what we can expect from BF3?:)
I think Cryteck have the better engine ever since the cry engine 1 Farcry in 2004. The Cryteck lad's know how to make the best looking games ever. BF3 will look very nice and beat Cryteck in the game play department as well but I will amazed if BF3 looks better than Crysis.

Cryteck have always been about PC since day 1 (this is part of the reason I don't understand why people **** them off so much Cryeck, Valve and Blizard are the only one's left) Dice have not been about PC gaming for a long time but can only hope they change for the better.:)

Took some pics with hi res on and off:

safe to say hi res is definately sharper.

...averaging 20-25 FPS with the new DX11 patch with everything on ULTRA settings at 1920 x 1080 and the game plays with a border around it and not fullscreen.

ive got this issue too. its like the game is overiding the overscan option in ati ccc.

out of interest does your monitor have a vga connection? use that and it will be fine. not ideal but at least a temporary fix.

Anyone know how to run the benchmark that was netioned in the patch notes?

Crysis 2 Patch 1.9

• Added DX11 benchmark level

Seems to be a whole lot of crap flying around, on the city streets there seems to be far more bits and pieces floating about.

Finally!

Been holding off playing this as i was waiting for the DX11 update!

Now i can start playing it. :)

i'm using a HDMI connection , i'm going to play it on DX9 settings because it still looks beautiful plus i get 70+ FPS on the extreme setting..

Is it AMD cards that have had a massive performance hit?

It's still very playable with a GTX480 at 30-50fps whereas some of you 6970 users are getting below 30.

Would you consider this a driver issue?
