*** The Division Thread 2.0 ***

Nothing needs changed with the DZ in terms of the PVE/P mix but what they should do is apply normalisation once you enter per GS bracket and apply PVP modifiers to the remainder of the skills they never did.

Last stand will be balanced once they fix ADR and Seekers so the same can apply elsewhere

PVE DZ - will remain as a dream to many, they will never admit defeat on it

What he said about skills and stats is dreadful it would ruin the game to do what he wants.

For PVE I agree so I hope they consider it more so for PVP. It is needed for that.

PVE you need these cool builds to keep yourself entertained and figure out new ways to do it

I've just finished a solo attempt at Times Square on Legendary difficulty, using a somewhat broken Tactician / Dfense build with +50% haste, 320k elec and as many shield health mods as I could fit. I managed to get right to the end using the seeker mine tactic, but then got killed by a sniper I had missed behind me. Definitely doable.

This is probably going to be the next game I pick up.

If I am interested in just playing it mostly solo and mostly for the story campaign, this game will fit those needs?

I'm not really interested in a MMO type game.

You can easily play it solo, unless you have a squad with you you won't see anyone else unless you're in the DZ or in a safe room. Incursions will almost certainly require a team. I will say though, this game SHINES in a squad and the game takes notice and increases bad guy density to compensate. Squad up for the best experience.

Yeah you can pretty much solo it, you might find some of the Missions hard depending what level you try them at.

I banged my head on some missions pretty underleveled and it took forever and without the right gear, but you can do it.

The DarkZone (PVP) can be done solo too, but it's far better in teams.

That said, working in teams doing the missions is a lot of fun too.

Is it easy to team up for the campaign?

Every main mission has a matchmaking function built into the screen that you use to pick difficulty and start it yourself, and if you go on the main map you can matchmake for free roam / DZ etc as well.

So yeah for MM its easy to find people. When you get to end game, a co ordinated group is required more than randoms on MM for the hardest content sometimes though

a lot of us chill on discord most of the time as well even when not playing so here is the link :)

Add me if you want as well for when you get to level 30: GAM8LE_H4CKU

Anyone know why Twirlywoo (aka Majnu, aka Manjuice) has been perma'd?

Take it he is still on DC, not been on in ages mind.

No need to team up for the campaign, its more end game stuff that people team up for

that said, ive played 178 hours and not teamed up once yet :p
as others said though some things will require a team but the majority of stuff can be done solo

Guys do you know any set other than alpha that is good for pvp? No I dont want to pvp just not dying like an amature when receiving the first five bullets from the enemy gun. (soalv L or something like that)

High End build is good with skulls gloves. Predators mark is also good due to bleed.

In 1.5, if you see someone running with a sawn off shotgun in their hand or a pistol and they use a skill before shooting - they are proccing adept and competent. If their gear score is 248 - it means the same.

If you want to troll however, go 4 banshee and run an LMG for the OOC damage bonus and spec slightly more into stamina - 4k FA or thereabouts is sufficient. :)

I've been using a full HE build for PVP and PVE since 1.5 first hit. Its been very effective, possibly more so than my previous AB build. The only downside with it being that it took a long time to put it together. The build can be seen here -

It has changed a bit since then. Toughness is at 499k, Armour @ 55.3% and EAD 56.50%. I'm also using some prosperous knee pads instead.
