(Clairvoyance is a new spell that pings you towards your nearest quest objective, and I hope that Mark + Recall are back with traveling stuff like Morrowind had).

hey guys,

just have to tell this to you.

this game is a masterpiece of art and design, of music and sound, of storytelling and depth characters.

i have played it some hours, and always when it turns night, and you can see the stars and the moon, together with the music it combines to something special i barely have ever felt in any video game.

..and then there was this special moment. i encountered a dragon, had a long and hard fight, but in the end i barely survived it and i was rewarded with one of the best "Hans Zimmer"-style background songs i have ever heard. and on top of that i looked at the sky and the most beautiful thing i have ever seen in a video game was right above me.
the northern lights. absolutely stunning. it just gave me the creeps. my eyes became wet just by watching this beauty of nature. really impressed myself.

From the previews I have read, the dynamic musical score seems to be excellent.

Can't decide on my race - have always played as a Redguard, but Orc seems the best as a warrior type.

People who think Bretons were only for mages couldnt have been more wrong

Trying to decide between Steam or Amazon. With Steam I can preload and play instantly when I get in on Friday but I can get it for £5 less on amazon. But I'd have to install it on Friday, wasting valuable dragon slaying time.

This wiki page seems the most sensible out of ones I have seen being a similar but simpler version of those from Oblivion.

I think those might be the real deal.

Almost sure they aren't in Skyrim, mark & recall and levitation specifically.

The Orc and Redguard racials both are pretty nuts in comparison to the rest. Orc especially, that is a huge deal.

Berserker: Once a day, deal double damage while taking half damage for 60 seconds.
Adrenaline Rush: Once per day, tenfold stamina regeneration for 60 seconds.

Edit - Altmer one seems alright but it really depends on how much of a bottleneck magicka is.

Highborn: Once per day, tenfold magicka regeneration for 60 seconds.

I did woodelf in Oblivion, i think i might do the same again i always like the idea of sneaking around with a bow, i think bows are actually useful in skyrim so hopefully that dream will come true . If it turns out not to work though i will just end up being some form of battlemage wood elf as in Oblivion.

Battlemage wont work in Skyrim

Theres absolutely no point in using armor + magic over robes + magic. You will have more defense with the latter and alteration magic perks, plus faster magicka regeneration. You will have half power spells while wearing heavy armor.
