Nope. Bethesda did it with Brink and Hunted as well.

Seems like Game started crying over Steam and Bethesda arrived in a whaaambulance again. :mad:

for some bizarre reason the publishers presumably its got something to do with sales of their console games being threatened though as I can't see them losing sales PC game sales by telling brick and mortar to get stuffed

The loading takes a bit longer when entering a big city like Whiterun, but as the screen loads you're given gameplay tips, bits of lore, and can even tinker with a three-dimensional object on the screen.

Tbh the Witcher 2 wasn't all that seemless - I saw plenty of loading screens and loading "transition" areas that would stumble a little. I would rather just a quick loading screen (which it will be on a powerful PC).

Witcher 2 was far from seemless, and the levels were far smaller than I imagine Skyrim will be.

Maybe I'm being fussy but I'm still not sold on the animations in this game...though I'm aware it's an alpha I really cannot see them improving!
