The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Blimey, just finished the last Potoma quest, that ate a few potions, I had not a single health potion left at the end of it, was a very close run thing.

Shame they dont seem to have fixed the quest where you have to collect 30/30 Nirnroot in Blackreach. That took me AGES only to find out the damn quest is bugged and un-hand-inable!!

I only done this yesterday, i didn't know there was a bug.

i found the 30 red Ninroots, then i had to hand them to some woman at a Alchemy house in the middle of nowhere. That completed for me.
But part 2 of the quest is to find a purpose for ninroot (iirc), which i haven't done yet, is this the bug?

One cave needs two of the previous claws you've collected from the Gauldur quest chain.

Damn, all sold :( I'll have to do an additem in the console when I need them again.

Very quiet in this thread now, and has never gone to page 2 till now. Have most people stopped playing it and moved on to the next game?:p

Still playing it, gingerly stepping around the spoilers :D

The 30 nirnroot was fine with me, although I've encountered two other bugs elsewhere in the game

1) meeting the khajit assassin outside Windhelm
2) Entering the Talos shrine, guards attack me although elsewhere guards are fine.

This is the first game I've put any time into since Oblivion came out, and I expect the only game I'll play until TES 6 shows up. I just don't have time for gaming unfortunately, but try and make an exception for Elder Scrolls stuff. All I can really manage is 2-3 hours each weekend but I'm still playing! I've put about 50 hours in and expect I'll manage 50 more over the next 6 months or so. Then I'll park it, but have another play through in another year or so.

I did a marathon 6 hours yesterday, completing the Mage's story arc and also completing the High Hrothgar part.

I'm now arch mage and tempted to try going back to magic with those robes!

Also I'm officially DragonBorn :D

The problem with this game is that you think you know how you want to play, then you get a load of equipment that makes you want to try something else!!! I'll do a pure magic run through at some point I think, I fancy Illusion and Alteration.

This game is so vast, its actually a turn off.

I want to do everything. Started only doing side quests rather than main story, so since November I am as far as getting officially recognised as Dragon Born by the beared dudes.

Equally however the game is great!

93 hours in, level 48 and still on act 1 of the main quest. I'm constantly being distracted by other quests or exploring dungeons. I've been playing it almost exclusively since Christmas, apart from the odd game of Team Fortress 2.

Finally managed to get rid of my bounty in Markarth, I got the bribe perk in speechcraft when I levelled up, went into the shrine of talos again, guy stops me, I say I'll come quietly, doesn't say anything else, the horde that followed me in come next, one gave me the option of paying my bounty off 25k gold, lol paid off, all's good now.

Jesus Christ - just did Bthardamz, that is an epic dungeon!!!! :D :D :D What a great quest and reward, too!

Finally got round to making some Light Dragon Armour :D

Looks awesome.

Sadly my smithing is at 67 right now but my Orcish stuff looks nice! :D

I've been using J'Zargo as my companion and well, he seems a bit weak really. He keeps using the weaker destruction spells.

I've kitten him out with full orcish armour with Magicka/Destruction enchantments except for the helmet which is Morekai. He doesn't really seem to be taking advantage of it like I hoped he would. I was expecting explosions and everything. :/

Might go back to using Lydia because she was tearing everything a new anus with the kit I gave her.
