Doesn't matter, we have all the mods on the PC...let them have something :p

It does matter. It's a bit of a kick in the teeth considering the whole series only exists really because of the PC gaming community (which is of course the most dedicated). It's not nice for Bethesda to then turn around and sell out to Microsoft, even though they have no legitimate reason to do so. PC gamers and PS3 players aren't going to either 1) buy another copy of Skyrim on Xbox 360, or 2) Go out and buy an Xbox 360 as well as a copy of Skyrim, to access the DLC 30-days before they should be able to.

I'd say a boycott should be in order, but at this stage it's no use. Bethesda wouldn't break their contract with Microsoft at this stage, and wouldn't want to risk Microsoft not selling the DLC for them.

Course its no use. And I agree, who really cares? Let the xbox players have there early release DLC. We have an endless list of mod content that makes the game infinitely better than any single official DLC ever could.

I am really ****ed off!

On my new game, I just fought the first Dragon outside Whiterun, with Deadly Dragon on it took me ages to whittle his health down with arrows, probably about 15 minutes in all, it was raelly fun, until I finally went in for the kill, so I went to swap to my dual-wielding axes....only I forgot that I had changed my controller config, and the button combo which was favourites yesterday, is now QUICKLOAD!!!!! FFFFUUUUU

Seriously....who uses quickload anyway???

Pff, try a 15 minute epic fight on Master with a support type Illusionist using Courage, weak Destruction spells and a litle healing, buffing a bunch of guards and my follower, only for 1 of the stupid ***** to run in front of me as I'm using Fus and suddenly I have 3 guards hostile to me just as we finished the dragon.

Just fired this up and I'm getting really bad screen tearing since changing to a 7970. I have had a look through the options and there is nothing for V-sync. I have my AMD drivers to force v-sync but this seems to have no effect.
The game runs perfectly smooth just tears really badly, Is anyone aware of a way to fix this ?

Delete the ini files at C:\Users\YOU\Documents\My Games\Skyrim then re-run the launcher. Or make sure iPresentInterval=1 exists in said ini files.

If you have tearing after doing this it's a problem with your driver settings.

Game has suddenly got really buggy.

Blood on the Ice has bugged out, not progressing. Battle for Whiterun was bugged out, wouldnt progress until I did something i wasnt required to do. Now ive returned to Whiterun, Jorrvaskr is locked and none of the NPCs outside are offering training options.

I Mjoll would be my first bet but she has that stupid thing that messes up her equipment.

Have they STILL not fixed that? So flippin' annoying when she chooses to use her hunting bow instead of the Daedric bow of awesomeness I give her. :(

A corrupted save.

Sorted most of them by completing other quests and heading back.

Just completed main quest. It was... trivial, using very basic gear.

I was thinking more that she has a default ring as part of her kit which prevents her equipping them. And it occasionally renews itself even if you remove it via console. But yeah that is an annoying issue too, luckily Lydia doesn't seem to have that problem... I think... now that I think about it, no matter how much she uses her bow the enchantment on it never seems to wear out where as I've had to renew her axes enchantment quite a few times now.

I want to play through this again. Got about 150 hours on the Xbox version.

I was a warrior previously, can't remember what race.

Any suggestions on which combo to go for this time? Would like to stay using swords. :)

A mage specializing in illusion and conjuration, with a bit of destruction if you want;). It is how I played my second run through(played about 50 hours). With the mods better bound weapons and Leezers bound armour it is really fun, it adds conjurable armour and most weapons to the game(including shields), though armour is a master spell that does not appear until quite a late level. Add a mod to improve robes and you've got a great battlemage.

I was a Breton when I played like this, as I wanted their magic resistance. Hit them from range with your spells and then if they get too close, conjure up a sword or two;). And illusion is the best magic school imo, makes the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood questlines a bit more fun

I practically always played with sword/shied or sword/spell.

I decided to play sneak/archer/one handed.

Taking out everyone on goldenglow estate in the middle of a dark rainy night was an experience. Backstab with an enchanted dagger whilst hidden inside. Outside sniping whilst hidden with an enchanted deadric bow.

Had 91 on sneak, and 100 on archery. (simply usage up to about level 91 and then training and skill books)

Only had light armor, didn't go up the skill tree much. Had an amulet that improved stamina by 50, and a ring that improved stamina regen by 40. (great for running away, and hiding!! :D)

Add a few alchemy potions and a few perks, and collect all the wheat and blue mountain grass. Tons of the stuff.

It's completely different than heavy armor, one handed, shield and smithing.

^^ thats not far off what I am playing atm. I am a Bosmer playing mainly archery/dual-wield, with some alchemy. Mainly levelling sneak/archery/onehanded(plus some block as well).

I am not going to touch smithing in this game, just gonna use what I can find/buy, but I may level enchanting as well, not sure yet.
