The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Also the minor quests, any way to get the detaisl of the quest text back, so you have a clue where to head for the various events?

Such as find x's sppon, where does x reside if I am still in the find her spoon part of the quest? Can one find that out, or do you need to find the spoon first then it'll remind you where x lives?

Just discovered the gem of a rainmeter skin that is the Skyrim skin! This looks amazing when you've configured it!

Just need to scale up the magicka/stamina bars/level up bars to the 1080p in game scale and i'll be sorted!

With this official add-on to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you can purchase land and build your own home from the ground up - from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with an armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and more. Use all-new tools like the drafting table and carpenter's workbench to transform quarried stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings. Even transform your house into a home by adopting children.

Hearthfire, the next official game add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, will be available for download for 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE® on September 4. Read more here [link to Hearthfire Product Page on BethSoft.com].

So how long with us PC gamers have to wait this time.... :/

I'm liking the idea of everything about this, other than the 'raise your own kids, get married, and live happily ever after' part.

If you've got a female character (which the vast majority of PC owners do) because of Calientes and UNP's great body meshes, you won't be getting married.

So are they going to introduce a civil partnership mod? But that would make your character a lezza. Urgh.

Think I might spend my time gardening / house designing and stay away from adoption / marriage.

If they somehow enabled you to fly when in vampire lord form (or at least not fall off buildings the moment you stepped out), Dawnguard would be worth a tenner just for that perk.

I am really dissapointed with the new Hearthfire DLC.

IIRC Todd Howard said in one of the interviews pre-Skyrim release, Bethesda wanted to release content rich DLC on par with Shivering Isles, that had a good few hours of game play rather than small content like Fighter's Stronghold.

I think it looks quite interesting, sure it won't please everyone and although many mods offer similar features, it is nice to have it all in one package.

It is also cheap, 400 Points. Dawnguard is 1600.

I burst out laughing when I saw the trailer. What is this Skyrim Sims edition?
Player made housing blows anything achievable by that DLC completely away so what were they thinking when coming up with it.

Still awaiting the major 'shrouded isles' equivalent DLC for Skyrim.

I guess it's aimed at the console market as they don't have modding tools.
