The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I need to get a divorce! Married Muiri (she be hawt!) from The Hags Cure in Markath, but she is sort of bugged. So as your wife, all she seems to say is 'thank you for resolving my...problem', referring to a quest you must do for her prior to getting wed. It's driving me up the wall and now Ysolda is giving me tempting looks in Whiterun. fffuuuu
 
I've heard about those mods and apparently they do work. I'm just still worried about breaking my savegame by using them. Guess I need to do some research to check. Damn you Betheshshsda for breaking Muiri, she doesn't even use the bed now! fffuuu
 
What's good for fighting these dwarf automatons I've come across? Some sort of mine or something I came across and the bandits and novice mages and conjurers were sliced and diced in short order but then I came across two dwarf robot things and Jesus they're hardcore. I got owned in seconds. Is it a case of finding it before i should have and come back later?
 
Out of curiosity, how long does the main quest last? No idea how far into it I am (my current marker is telling me to meet Malborne for the first time).
 
I lost my mage companion. I originally met him in a pub in Riften but lost him in Markath when I did a quest for the thieves guild. Dont want to have to resort to a console command if I can help it. Will he just be wandering around somewhere? He's not back in the pub :(

If you know who he is you can find his ID from a wiki somwhere.

Then in the console type:

prid <his ID> hit enter
moveto player hit enter

I've had to do this with Lydia many a time.

I have installed a lot of mods and had no issues at all with save games.
The marriage partners are a bit rubbish though, I married Aela and she sleeps in the servants bed, but she still makes me a sandwich and pays her way :)

Before that I married Sylgia but couldnt get on with her hanging around the house in dirty miners gear with a pickaxe.. so reloaded the save and went with Aela.
 
I decided to roll a mage after putting in only 17hrs into my warrior who became too powerful but couldnt hold much in his inventory. Anyway im a mage im about 6hrs in and Lydia died by a huge golden dwarven thing:p Anyway should i be annoyed or is there better companions out there. Ive already tried that elf woman in whiterun but she didnt seem very good.
 
Companions will likely be a pain while playing as a mage as any spells you cash which case splash damage are going to be problematic.

I'm playing a spellsword type character (destruction magic and one-handed) and haven't used a companion at all yet. I'm about 45 hours in and level 34.

especially if you give her the staff from after youve killed her mother
 
117 hours in, just broke 201k in gold lol Obviously will have made a lot more than that and spent it, but that's what I have sitting in my rather full and heavy pocket. They should make coins weigh something so you have to risk leaving it in a house.

Got attacked by an ancient dragon at the college of winterhold. Ouch he was tough. I just hid from his frost breath, shot an arrow, hid again, repeat. Was able to kill it with about 8-10 daedric arrows thankfully :)
