I am liking RCRN atm...a good alternative to ENB if it is too demanding, though it does it's own fxaa, so you would have to get rid of the one you already have.
 
Guys a page or two back I was crying about Skyrim freezing my PC so that the only way out was a hard-reset.

After some Googling I came across a YT vid where this dude was telling PS3 owners how to stop their console from freezing. I was about to close it and move on but I hung about and watched. What he did was go to Game Options, scrolled down and disabled all those "save on" options:

Save on Rest,
Save on Wait,
Save on Travel,
Save on Character Menu

He killed all those options. So I did the same (even tho this was directed at PS3 owners). And guess what - no more freezing :D

Hope this helps someone in the future.

Take out all files associated with the old ENB, and then put the new ones in.

The problems lie in if the old ENB has put anything in the data folder, as some ENB's do. As installations are manual in most cases, only you will know that.

I'd uninstall first If I were you.

I extracted ENB RealVision into data, but I always use the injector in the RV folder which I then I hide to desktop.


If anyone needs a thorough SKSE guide, here it is, so many mods require SKSE it's a pretty much a must have.

so you just changed in ini to 0 yes?
 
You guys have any recommendations for mods to decrease distant texture pop in and increase distant textures? Anything close by looks incredible, but distance views, when out in the wilderness look awful. For example water looks like slabs of ice and trees look like low res turd.

It might be worth looking into changing some values in your .ini or .pref files though, be careful though.

I has a similar problem you had, I just keep trying different combinations of texture mods, with ENB, without ENB, and in the end it now looks pretty good.
