The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

Just tried the water quality tweak and it's quite a nice change. I couldn't find any before / after screenshots of it though without the author making other changes as well, so here's a pair with only the water tweaked, nothing else. Feel free to use them Neil. No fps loss as far as I can tell.

SkyrimPrefs.ini

Find these two lines, change both values to 1024
iWaterReflectHeight=512
iWaterReflectWidth=512

Add the lines
bUseWaterReflectionBlur=1
bReflectExplosions=1
iWaterBlurAmount=4
bAutoWaterSilhouetteReflections=0
bForceHighDetailReflections=1

After

Now this looks pretty good as it doesn't really affect the visuals in a bad way:

FXAA Injector Custom Settings-More Colourful and Realistic w by superdinoman

Trying it out now.

It's a nice mod (the one above) definitely the best out of the bunch that try to sharpen the game up with injectors, the others tend to be stupidly overdone on the sharpen filter.

Have you tried it out krugga? Recommended?

It looks great so far, mighty better effect than any other post-processing config I have tried.

It's well-balanced and actually corrects the visuals from the vanilla game.

The Glowing Ore mod looks nice but disables the option actually mine the damn things :confused:

Not had any problems myself but maybe you should try the 1.0 (assuming that you're using 1.1).

It's actually using a little more subtle effect so looks easier on the eyes.

BTW, some mods do not seem to install properly using the NMM, make sure that you verify which work and which don't as some files may not be overwritten, especially if they're put in various folders.

So far it was just the FXAA Injector config that I had to install manually, I suspect the Flora Overhaul might be another one that is not installed the way it should be.

Always make sure to install the mods in order if they overwrite each other too.

You will have to wait for the creation kit so that you can add in some conversations for your character to have with NPC's about it, maybe a quest as well. Until then....

:p

i know a guy who did a podracer scene in maya for some college course he was on :D

im going to see if he still has the files for it so i can add a podracer mount once bethseda release the tools needed

Yeah it's great, only downside I've came across is the text is too sharp and the lighting on pages can be overly bright in the daytime if reading a journal or something. Other than that it really looks nice.

Have not read all the pages but the only thing i have done is changed the jump height makes mountain climbing a bit higher.

setgs fjumpheightmin (value) default is 75

FYI the default timescale is apparently 20, not 30 like oblivion/Fallout, so 1 hour= 20 in-game hours.

"set timescale to x" is the console command to change it, with x being in-game hours.

Im not entirely sure if texture mods are working with mine, the Load loose files doesn't seem to stick nor does adding the binvalidateolderfiles=1 seemingly.

Sigh. :(

Might try out the mod manager i guess.

Edit: Hmm what should i do about this update.esm?
