Tony, let me just put my 2 pence in on the situation.

I work in a professional office. When I get time I browse these forums.

The nature of those mods is an adult one, to deny or not see it is indeed naive. And yes, if you were to take screenies of what ever mod you just mentioned (what ever gets your jollies off to be honest, it's definitely not up my street...) I don't think it would be me asking but a mod telling you to remove them.

I'm simply asking a courteous question to respect that this is, after all, a family friendly forum. And as such in the nature of the rule, if something is a little awkward to show around, then it's not fit for viewing. As it's not directly naked or rude, I didn't report the post or anything. I simply asked.

As I said, what ever gets you off is your business, but to turn a blind eye at what's appropriate or not is daft. And thanks for editing the post and putting it in spoiler tags.
 
I turned Vsync off and now it seems to have stopped, though while outside I sometimes still get that annoying water splash sound when changing view points.

Does anyone have the link to a mod a mate was telling me about where you can cast a spell to play as one of the giants or draugr etc? You get all their faction standings, perks etc until you cast a spell to revert back to your character?

Sounds like good fun but I can't seem to find it...

What mods did you use for the hair and face? I found a few recommended ones off the ENB Realism page but they just enhanced the textures not change hair or face structure.

Turning off vsync caused the game to go made, so put it back on. As it's certainly either a conflict of a mod causing the issue or you have vsync forcibly disabled somewhere else.

I used to use a mod that allowed the FPS to be capped at a certain number. The game actually breaks at around 80fps so I used to cap it at 74. This allowed me to play without the vsync mouse lag but also without breaking the game.

This might work but I don't know, I play with controller now so the lag doesn't bother me at all.

I can't play with mouse though as it's just horrendously bad.

Could you guys offer some advice?

I have spent weeks now trying to get skyrim to run with realvision ENB + recommended mods but literally nothing works.

As far as I can tell I'm doing everything right, following the instructions perfectly, even tried the videos. I am running BOSS, SMCO- everything that I should but I constantly get CTD.

It has gotten to the point where I can't even get the game to run with 3-4 mods with fresh install without CTD. I am on the verge of giving up.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks
 
Well, think am going to try a clean installation of the game and slowly mod up.

Might try installing ENB first and seeing how that looks. This installation I really want to keep things basic and see if I can get a decent stable game.

Are you trying Mod by Mod?
Make sure you're doing a full fresh install, clean out any rogue files left behind etc.

What mods are you loading in first?
Start with setting up SKSE, BOSS, SkyUI, (Clean loader? I forgot the name) then little tweaks from there, changing your parameters as recommended on the first page.

So, still having this annoyance and in some areas it's really bad and obvious.

Can others take a snap of their ground when it doesn't have anything on it? I need to know it's not just me. I've tried everything bar a reinstall.
 
I had a look around riften and there are spots with repeating textures like your screenshot, i am using cabals landscape textures 1k with vivid landscape performance on top so it dont look to bad :)

dont think there is much you can do but you could try Unique Grasses and Groundcovers http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42370/?. Maybe that will help if its not in your load order :)
