dont think there is much you can do but you could try Unique Grasses and Groundcovers http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42370/?. Maybe that will help if its not in your load order![]()
Ahhhhhhh YESSSS, not just me. It's the game.
ACES, thanks mate, that's an annoyance I can let rest. I will try a few mods, including the one you suggested to see if I can smoothen it out, but I guess it's an old game and some things will simply just have to look dated.
I might get into modding and create a grass mod, where open spaces like that have smaller but covering grass so it's not such a simple and plain tile texture on the floor.
Annoying, but at least it's something I will have to get used to.
Which monitor is it? Upgrading to a 34 inch 21:9 panel soon and read reports that its hard to get skyrim to work with it properly at the 3440x1440 res.
Not to be a smart ass, but I said it was probably just the way the game is quite a few posts ago
Have you tried any of the existing mods which add grass? lush grass + trees, grass on steroids, realistic grass?
29" LG, I changed the skyrimpref.ini to set the resolution at 2560x1080 and then I use Flawless Widescreen to fix all the issues with SkyUI (normal UI) & FOV etc.
Cheers, should I just chuck them in from start?
Also is the "interesting people" mod worth it for the minor quests?
Best to put them in from the start. It isn't essential, but it is best to touch your game as little as possible once you have started. Don't forget to search for the kids do individually as well, as there are addons for them too. Falskaar in particular has some good ones. Falskaar and Wyrmstooth add pretty large new Islands to the game, and you can get mods that do things like add boats that travel between them, new signposts etc.
Interesting people is well worth it. Adds so much to the game. Might seem insignificant, but it is almost essential imo. It is a massive dl though.

I asked in another thread, is there a mod so when you try new equipment on in the inventory screen it shows your character so you can see what they look like?
Hmm Interesting NPCs looks really good, shame I'm already 100 hours into a game and don't want to mess it upAlso kinda wishing I'd installed the various new-lands in case I wanted to play them. Ah well
Any other recomendations for bits and peices that are worth adding on whilst I'm at then?
Thanks for the help btw, much appreciated.
It only adds, it doesn't modify anything so you should be fine. The only mods I would worry about it affecting are ones that change settlements(Cities and Towns Expanded etc). I know it adds a new outside store to Morthal for example, so if you have something that changes Morthal it might conflict(but it would only be monor and would still be fine). It is also very heavy on memory apparently. Best to check the compatibility section on the mod's page.
It is a really great mod. One of the best. The way they have tied it in with the main game and quests is quite brilliant. For example, whilst going along the main quest path(or any really) you will meet NPCs from this mod that have things to say about what you are doing and things that have happened in the world. It makes a lot of difference.
