Hey peeps, have any of you been having any problems with Skyrim since upgrading to Windows 10? It worked fine with all of my mods on Windows 8.1 but now I'm finding that the 'Pure Waters' mod is causing it to crash on startup. I've tried 'Real Waters 2' and that does the same, so it can't be a coincidence and I can't seem to find anyone else reporting the same problem.

I'm also finding that the FXAA post process injector is causing a similar crash, so it would certainly seem that this is either a DX12 or NVidia drivers issue. Any ideas?

Also Neil have you tried sweetFX over an ENB?? Am going to do a complete re sinatll of mods from scratch and wondered whether SweetFX maybe better performabce wise than a full blown end.

I'm using UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul 1.2i and wish to remove it and replace it with the latest Extensible Follower Framework.

Clearly, I don't want to break my game but I only have one follower so far and one kid and am only low level.

Any advice on removing it please?

done it a couple of times mate and had no problems,just uninstall ufo,do a clean save then install EFF

Just started to mod skyrim for the first time, bit daunting at first but having a read through here has helped a lot as usual, trying mostly visual mods at the moment to spruce it up a bit, but the texture pop in is so annoying, so what's the most recommended mod to address this?

There are various mods that increase the quality of LODs which will make the transition less obvious - e.g. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4834/?

You can also tweak your .ini files so that the game loads more grids and textures, as explained here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1387/?

Hi guys just had a go on this last night and have noticed that I get a very fine jerky action when panning the camera in either view. I'm at a solid 60fps so isn't that. Any ideas? Was fine last time I played it on my old monitor I'm sure.

Got a video? Is VSync or FPS cap on? I found limiting the FPS to 59 helped with micro stuttering.

Downloaded and tried 1.7 today. I can't see any difference over his previous 1.5 (and 1.6 Riften) HD 2K pack I've had installed for about 3 years. Should I be seeing anything different???

Can anyone recommend any good dungeon mods? Not ones that change current dungeons, but new dungeon areas. Ideally the harder the better, maybe even more puzzles that are above simply 'turning the pillars to match what this conveniently placed book says'.

Looking for a challenge.

Forgotten Dungeons but may be to easy for you,but most are huge

Great thread Neil but very difficult to follow. Are there equivalent mods in the Steam Workshop? Be great if we can list them all, much easier if possible. I'll be looking and testing some at the weekend(Steam Workshop), will see how I get on.
