The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

I've uninstalled all ENB/FXAA Injector mods now and the gameplay feels much smoother.

Maintaining 30 fps + in cities (30-50 most of the time) and 60+ outside.

I installed LOADS of textures today and nothing crashes my saves any more.

The 4GB patch works just fine with the latest Skyrim version too.

Skyrim Total Enhancement Project is still a good place to find some new promising mods.

My mods folder is 1GB large now, on the list are 4GB Patches, Armour and Shields improvements, Better performance patches, Blood Textures, Cities Textures, Controls imp., details enhancement, dragon textures, improved effects, ENB series mods, fonts replacement, furniture retextures, FXAA Injector mods, guides, Interface replacements, Landscape retextures, nude mod, ore textures replacement, road textures, sky textures, smithing mods, flora overhaul mod, water textures and Xenius' Body Textures.

Didn't say that, however i've watched through this thread but you've had a lot of issues with skyrim and certain mods :p

Yes but I also thoroughly tested them and know what causes crashes and what doesn't on my config.

With that said, I couldn't possibly claim that the same situation would be reflected on every PC.

Arrows - Simple Fletching link doesn't work in the OP anymore, guessing it got removed. Only other arrow making mod I can find adds other stuff to the game that I don't want, booo.

The new beta of MSI afterburner allows you to use OSD with FXAA injections now :)

o Added power user oriented application profile setting allowing MSI On-Screen Display Server to detect runtime function offsets dynamically on each 3D application startup. This provides On-Screen Display functionality support in applications using modified Direct3D runtime libraries (e.g. FXAA injection Direct3D runtimes)

The EXE linked earlier bypasses steam entirely so you're talking poo ;)

If not, please can you link and write instructions on what to do please? Ive tried it with the new exe and im receiving error 51, and with the downloaded exe its not accessing Steam which i need.

Anyone?

It definitely does not work with steam overlay...

Can you link me to the exact patch you're using?

And do i run it through steam library or directly off the exe?

Have Steam running in the background and just run the skyrim4gb.exe, it will do everything else.

Make sure that skyrim4gb.exe and skyrim4gb_helper.dll are in the same folder (I have them in my Skyrim folder in the Steam library).

Use the shortcut to skyrim4gb.exe only.

if you patched the TESV.exe before the update then it will still be the old one, verifying the game cache will replace it with the none-patchable version. The game runs fine using the old exe even after the update, a nice DRM fail there since the pirates won't be updating anyway.

You probably don't need to update though, the only change seemed to be the forced use of steam.

Yeah you are right, I just checked. File version is the same but the size is slightly different...

It doesn't bypass steam for me, just put it in your steam directory overwriting the old exe (making sure to back it up) and everything works as usual. So no I'm not talking poo.
