The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - MODS & TWEAKS

Would anyone like to try and help me find out why Skyrim is utterly unplayable for me with a relatively lightly modded game. When I first played the game in 2013 I modded the hell out of it whilst I got the odd CTD it wasn't anything I couldn't live with. Now though it seems that no matter what I do the game CTDs after 10 minutes making it unbearable.

I've done a fresh install of Skyrim, i've cleaned the ESM's and i've installed SKSE with the memory patch below;

[Memory]
DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768
ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

In the spoiler is a screenshot of my Mod Organiser showing what i have installed and in what order. Pretty much everything was installed with default options.

I've tried with and without a merged patch or bashed patch but it makes no difference. I never even get close to maxing out my RAM or VRAM. I'm about ready to give up and wait for the remastered release :(

Well so far so good, i can actually play the game for 30+ minutes without any crashes. Fingers crossed ENBoost has sorted my constant CTD's.

Thanks again, Fulax.

Started a new game yesterday with most of the mods installed from page 1. I was coming out from Whiterun to go for the golden claw, when on the path leading out. A giant fell from the sky and and had an arrow stuck in it. Not sure what happened there but something must have bugged out.

Things flying into the air/falling out of it can be caused by high FPS. Skyrim's physics engine doesn't like it when you go over 60fps.

Thanks Goose, I'll give that a try. Is finding the correct load order just a hit and miss?

My game is capped at 60FPS, so can't be that.
