The SLoD mods look good, but I can't say it's something I'll ever really notice. I never pick up ales or wine, and I just pick up every potion I see without caring what it is - I just sell it regardless.

I can't say the difference is obvious with the SLoD Wine Cellar MOD. Potions and Poisons is far better

I've downloaded the Eisen Platte armour but want it to represent my Ancient Shrouded armour. DO I simply rename the file of the Eisen armour as the Shrouded armour? If so, does anyone know what the filename is?

EDIT: Alternatively, how can I edit the properties of the Eisen Platte armour so that it matches the Shrouded armour?

Does anyone know if there is a mod for male faces.... its just that, now all the women look nice and the men look pixelated, they just look really out of place :/

Has anyone else noticed that most of the "realistic" shader mods cause everything to become much darker? That isn't really the definition of realistic tbf.

Looks awesome, I'll give that a go.

The standard map is pretty much useless when trying to find your way around undiscovered areas. Mainly because of the lack of road markings and too much cloud!

This looks to fix it, with colour coding too!

Does the Nexus Mod manager work ok? Anyone use it? Tried it on FO3 a while back and it was great, want to try out some new things in Skyrim.

Works great. I've never used a mod manager before so was a little sceptical, but it's made adding the handful of mods I'm using so much easier.

Mod Manager is excellent, makes the whole process pretty painless.

Hi. i edited my ini file with these values:

iShadowMapResolution=8192

iBlurDeferredShadowMask=32

fGrassStartFadeDistance=14000.0000

And outdooors it runs fine but when im indoors i take a dramatic framerat hit. i get like 5fps indoors. How comes?

i have a overclocked i7 920 do at 3.8 and my 480gtx clocked at 875mhz.

Because your computer is running on hardware and not magic fairy dust.

You've set the shadow resolutions to maximum which by all reports cripples systems running with graphics cards better than yours in SLI.

4096 is the recommended for most systems.

Also iBlurDeferredShadowMask should be between 0 and 7, where did you get 32 from?

This is advise to you and anyone else thinking of editing their ini files, please find out what everything you are changing DOES and what values are accepted BEFORE you randomly start messing with them.

I've started a new game and put the "player.setav carryweight" command in but every time I start skyrim it resets and i'm over encumbered.
Anyone got any ideas?
