Cleared out all my mods today (as I manually installed them all) and installed the NMM and started from scratch.

Looks a lot better now but some places cripple me; like in Morthal I was fighting a dragon and my FPS dropped to 14. :'(

Running Skyrim HD 2K as a base mod with all the rest installed over the top.

I would recommend my above list as a start if anyone is looking to start modding their game (graphically mostly) as the majority of them can be pulled from the OP.

Small mod but it replaces one of the most ugly and out of place textures in Whiterun

There is a 4096 res version but I just went for the smaller 1024 res version as I am using the 2k lite version.

I'm surprised the 2k mod improved the timber on the bridge but left them god awful trellis in.

How did you install the Nicer ********** mod with NMM? There is no download with manager option for me and manual d/l and placing the file in the folder does not work.

You do know that you can install mods from a file with the NMM...? Just dl the ********* one manually and then add it will the NMM.

FWIW there is a NMM version, I just tried it and it downloaded fine for me

Skyrim Nexus is having serious bandwidth overload issues lately.

Anyway, that list above is already outdated for me, I'm using around 100 mods now and still have 30 or so to install.

If anyone's interested, I'll post a full list.

im having a strange sound problem, the voices are very low unless i face directly at the person speaking.......any ideas?

Ok I wasn't aware, I assumed the mods without the 'download with manager' button were not compatible with the manager. I'll try that cheers.

But as I noted there are files there for that mod to download with the NMM...

...it worked with me for the magical type, but I then deleted it.

Having problems with nexus!, Many of the files are showing up as file does not exist via modmanager and when it does work 56kb/s or slower.

Restart NMM, or try getting the mods again later.

You don't see any effect with that many mods installed ?, I only have 2 installed at the moment

For some reason it does not work for me. I just get the same textures of the old trellis even though it is installed and the two dds files are in the correct folder.

I wonder if it could be something to do with the official texture pack preventing these from working..?
