Good to see all that soul searching and a kick up the backside after the 2nd test is paying dividends 
After the first two tests it was hard to see how England could get worse but here we are with Australia potentially winning a whole test match with a first innings score of 267

I think a couple of our batsmen, particularly Bairstow, have got unlucky, but the truth is that Root is making this look comparatively easy and the gulf between him and every other one of our batsmen is far too bigGood to see all that soul searching and a kick up the backside after the 2nd test is paying dividends

It's shocking. He's a good line and length bowler, nothing more, and he's taking us apart.

We never were trying in the first place.
What a shambles, Root needs to stay, he’s by far and away our best player, who to have with him as a team? Well, not many of this lot.
Lack of preparation is being very kind I’d say….
