Woke up, checked the score, saw our plucky Australian underdogs had mounted a feisty defence. Not too bad considering the state we were in.

Same old Aussies, always cheating. I’m almost certain there is a rule that says your tail-enders have to have barely held a bat before. England abide by this almost to a fault.

We did. Just you didn't bother to hit it more than 5 yards yesterday. Bairstow got his eye in again. Reckon they'll go to lunch tomorrow absolutely demoralise and push on if we have the wickets left. Day and 2 sessions to bowl them out.

Ali doesn't look too affected currently. Be good if he gets through tonight so he can rest up.
