There needs to be a "not entirely sure yet" option, but since there isn't, I voted for in as that's where I'm leaning towards currently.

Having just two options is a very deliberate decision. We've kept it the same as the official poll question. As the months go on, we should see the percentages vary as undecided voters go one way or another.

Stay.

Britain is not a big deal any more on the world stage. Some of you need to stop pining for the colonial days.

Plus the city loses influence as the weeks go by and more rigging is rejected, I expect Frankfurt is full of aspirant traders hopeful that we vote out.

Remain.

I don't think the EU is perfect but I don't expect it to be either. However, I agree with its goals and I have personally benefited greatly from us being in the EU. I believe that the country as a whole benefits too.

However, I also believe that whatever the result of the vote, it'll be the right decision. There's no point us being in the EU if we're not committed to it. It's an utterly pointless exercise if we continue to send significant numbers of MEPs to the European parliament who refuse to carry out their democratic obligation. Also, without the UK dragging its heels maybe the EU will be stronger.

For those who want to remain in, how do you justify the loss of democracy? Around 60% of our laws are now EU policy which means regardless of the UK controlling political party they cannot be changed.

This is the strongest pull for me to vote out and I want to know how you justify this because for all the benefits the EU might bring I just cannot swallow this at all. In my mind things will only get more and more centrally controlled and our vote will essentially be muted with UK politicians becoming no more than impotent middle managers.

With an undecideds option, it would still show percentages vary but would also reflect the trend from undecideds to decideds as undecideds, presumably, reduced. Without it, there's no way to know if change reflects changing minds or undecideds deciding.

But if if's a deliberate choice not to, fair enough.

I'm voting out but u think come the crunch people will get scared of the break (exactly what happened with Scotland)

I can understand this, I don't mind the risk, but if you have a family and you fear for your job etc. Probably is better the devil you know

But I still want to be able to moan about the Eu so out for me
Besides I think out could be exciting and I want to know what will happen

If we stay in I think this whole thing will he a negative as it will be a big win for the eu
We didn't get what we wanted
We still stay in
Push UK around even more.

These laws aren't made by faceless people, they are voted by the European Parliament, who we send MEPs to. Well, unless you voted for a UKIP MEP who don't engage or often even attend the European Parliament. If you want to have a say in EU law, stop voting for people who don't turn up.

The Germans have huge power in Europe because they engage with Europe. Standing on the sidelines is why our voice is not as loud as the second largest economy in Europe should be.

That assumes one subscribes to FPTP every 5 years, with continued boundary/voter eligibility changes as actual democracy.

Exactly this. I vote stay, but I may change my mind as more details emerge and my understanding of it all improves. In or out, it's all one messed up, corrupt farse anyway...
