True, but I wonder how many people who bemoan the EU parliament go the trouble of thinking about who they are voting for, or lobbying their MEP to speak on their behalf. The system is by no means perfect, but the opportunity to engage with it is there; to call it a "dictatorship" is hyperbole.

It's not a Dictatorship, it's just not a Democracy that is ever going to serve Britain as good as our own Parliament.

If pointing out the idiotic flaws in the leave claims is negative, then okay. If remain are negative, leave are just being fantasists/lying/concealing the truth. Eg. claiming that we'll magically just be able to trade as we want to with the EU, without having to accept free movement... when I haven't heard a compelling argument why that's realistic (just frothing at the mouth and shouting how our economy is huge so obviously we'll get what we want doesn't count).

There is no free movement with the US free trade agreement. It is silly to think that we have to accept free movement to have free trade. Other countries have proven otherwise.

And London wants it different from what Leeds wants?

I feel there are much greater differences between European countries than there are differences between me and my friends in London. We're much richer than Eastern European countries for example, we're a fair bit better off than Spain, we speak a different language, we use a seperature currency, there are huge differences in culture, as well as political leanings.

Your friends in London represent an insignificant minority. ~60% of the population of London have a different ethnicity, culture, often even main language.

I don't know enough about the details to form an opinion yet but I don't trust any politician, especially ones that try to pass ill-thought out laws such as the Snooper's Charter. Who would restrain the Government from such things if we left the EU?

Pretty much all big cities in countries have high levels of immigrants. According to this London isn't in the top 10:

And we can all help to reverse that by voting to Leave the EU.

Which will accomplish bugger all as Europeans represent just 10% of the population. The world has irreversibly changed and it's not just London, the same is happening in most of the cities in developed countries. Leaving the EU won't make a dent in the trend.

Looks like the UK steel industry is in it's final death throes and surprise, surprise.

Just another in the long list of reasons to get out of this bureaucratic nightmare.

Pretty sure France has supported the industry more than we have?

I can't find any concrete facts but just people/articles saying stuff like this: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/steel-industry-protected-eu-countries-6671639

The French have bigger balls than our slimey ministers? http://www.theguardian.com/business/2012/nov/26/arcelormittal-france-steel-factory-closures

If you think that leaving the EU will somehow have a huge effect on our immigration levels and vote to leave, I honestly think you might end up being disappointed.

It's one of the reasons I'm not convinced we should be having a referendum at all. Such a huge decision to make with many different ramifications; yet so many people only seem to be bothered about the perceived immigration problem and voting to leave based on that, when I haven't seen any guarantee that our immigration levels would suddenly drop, nor that that would have any tangible benefit.

The US doesn't have 'free trade' with Europe in the way we (or say Switzerland) do now.

Do you know what that limit is for the steel industry and that our government is doing/has done all it can? Or are they just blaming the EU for something unprofitable that they don't want to throw more tax payers money at?

Genuine question, as without all the facts it's hard to make the sort of judgement you are doing.

Quite, I'm currently out but not because I'm under some illusion it will magically change immigration.

Unless Cameron were to resign after a OUT vote, he would be negotiating our trade deal with the EU and I expect free movement to be signed off straight away as Cameron supports it.

EU rules prevent us helping our steel industry. Corbyn and MacDonalds economic plan that includes this is illegal under EU rules.
