Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?

Seems as if the public believe all the scare stories about leaving if only 36% want to leave.

There's a sharp divide in EU polling between on-line and telephone polls. On-line polls indicate a close run race, telephone polls give a 20% or so lead to remain. That suggests that the polls on this are going to be unreliable because there should be no such gulf between methods and given the last election I don't think I need to point out why polls need to be taken with a pinch of salt.

It's interesting how in the first poll here there was a 3% lead for the in campaign. Now in a space of a month we have a 15% swing to No

That's a massive swing in a very short space of time, even for this forum. I think there's a smaller but more significant swing in the real word

Be cautious in over-interpreting these polls. The first poll had 790 respondents by the end, over twice this one. Since it's not a random poll there is no way of knowing whether the difference represents a change in opinion on the forum or is simply because there's a different sample of members.

Having said that: I think you're right, I thing Cameron's inept dealings in negotiating for a fig leaf and the refugee crisis have had an impact on wider opinion.

I used to say the exact same thing as you during the election polls, turns out that by the half way mark the % changes very very little

Clearly our overlords have been lying to us, we are in fact living in a leftism utopia without realising it!

That's actually true. The Western World consists of mostly liberal democracies and the standard of living for the average person would've been considered utopian just 100 years ago.

Why does it take the reality of the situation for OCUK posters to finally see some sense and say " OUT ". Last time the vote was swinging both ways!

Well done members

It's clear in our society that a minority group of libertads seem to get away with controlling a largely right-wing populous

Case in point: Taking in 3000 child refugees, all the libertads needed to do was kick and scream until a TORY Prime Minister leading the country caved in!

Aren't you an immigrant too? It was ok to allow you to stay but some innocent children, nah?

Innocent children? How do you tell?

The '15' year old that killed a swedish woman?

The 'child runner' who says he's 14 and hangs around 14 year old girls but looks like a 20 year old? Just look at the last page and you'll see that it's next to impossible, As i said i would accept children under the age of 12 and are truly alone and under the rules any later claims by parents they can be returned to the parents in the country where the parents are (to avoid the scam of parents sending there kids first then popping up out of the blue asking to be let into the UK)

If you're perfectly happy with the way the EU is and it's direction then vote IN

If you're happy being in the EU but would like a bit of Uk "Leeway" then you have to vote OUT

If you're unhappy with the EU and it's direction then vote OUT

Generally speaking, for the better deal, Vote OUT.

As I said earlier, if the OUT campaign wins that wont be the end of it only then we will have considerably more clout (If we pull out then the EU is definitely finished) and therefore they HAVE to give us concessions.

Then in the next referendum that's guaranteed to happen (we didn't vote the right way in the first) we can vote IN

Obviously all deals that were made to persuade us to vote in will be reneged upon. That's obvious !!

I read somewhere that when the CM was first formed it had 37% of World trade and now it has just 17%

Not really because its a new poll its got less votes and thse threads are followed more closley by the leave group than the remain group.

Just like the scotish polls, people wanting to leave tend to be more passionate

^

I think you're clutching at straws there

You realise i voted out right?

Im jist saying that the "change" people tend to vote quicker on these threads as they look for them.

So id wait for it to reach a comparable number to the only one before making sweeping statements about gains
