Poll: The EU Referendum: What Will You Vote? (New Poll)

Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?

It's interesting how in the first poll here there was a 3% lead for the in campaign. Now in a space of a month we have a 15% swing to No

That's a massive swing in a very short space of time, even for this forum. I think there's a smaller but more significant swing in the real word

This is the 3rd poll, both the previous ones voted to stay in, so this is like a true referendum now, keep asking till you get the answer you want ;)

As someone from Germany that travels between England and Germany quite often, I'd say leave.

The EU currently has power over countries that they should have no power over, It's pretty much a nazi regime without being called a nazi regime.

I thought it looked as though EU immigrants would not be allowed to vote?

Rules on eligibility are the same as for the general election. Which is an interesting point, since I doubt the pollsters are reaching the large number of UK citizens living and/or working in the EU and it seems safe to assume that they will swing in the Remain direction.

Found this on Sky News

Downing Street has said the franchise for the referendum will be the same as that which dictates General Elections.

This means that British, Irish and Commonwealth citizens who are over 18 and resident in the UK are eligible to vote, as are UK nationals resident overseas for less than 15 years.

EU nationals resident in the UK, who are entitled to vote in local and European elections, will nevertheless miss out on this occasion.

It's nothing of the sort. It is to see how opinions change over time. The results of the new poll reflects that of the 'negotiations' so far and peoples opinions of the migrant crisis post new years. There will be at least 1 new poll in the run up to the referendum.

Quite rightly so because EU nationals have a vested interest, Cameron has already said no EU ethnics to vote in the referendum, they can keep their noses out.

Tbf, all Cameron has to do is not to lose big. The Leave campaign (I know there's no officially designated one yet) and whatever media clout they can muster behind them have to overcome not only their internal splits but also a Tory PM/Chancellor -- an almost impossible task in the current political climate!

It really isn't that, Mr Godwin award winner.

Out here, still haven't found any reasons or sound arguments to remain, perhaps a little more research is in order nearer the time (proper research, not GD/Facebook level politics lol :p)

Oh you made a funny, Well done kiddo.

Seriously though Germany has become like Mad Max in many places with total media blackouts and quite nightmarish especially for women and if this is anything to go by with the loopy EU forcing countries to take in unvettable people, Get out now while you can.

Footballers and stuff, dude... Footballers. Gotta stay in because, Footballers.

Didn't even think of that (not a sportsball fan). Will all the European players on British teams need Visas?

Will said Visas be rejected due to the sheer number of kids willing to be professional football players, if not for all the immigrants taking their job?

There's far greater knock on effects with footballers than ordinary citizens though.

True, even US, Japan and Australia have exceptional categories for 'high value' individuals. A category can be defined as an absolute exception: we need them, let them in; or as an immigration points boost on an X type of visa. This can of course include doctors and nurses, scientists, some students, etc; but a person who's guaranteed a job and a high salary might also get a bump up.

Swings and roundabouts.
